Chapter 137 – Together (5)

One hour passed by.

Siiiiizzle-

A sound similar to something burning filled the room.

"Mm, ugh."

The necromancer Mary started to moan.

'…Scars appear that way.'

Cale bit down on his lips.

– Looks like it hurts.

Raon's sad voice echoed inside of Cale's mind.

Raon was talking about both Mary and Hannah.

The black veins on Hannah's body that looked like they would burst were slowly shrinking. All of the visible areas, including her arms, face, neck, and calves, were all starting to calm down.

In return, lines that look like black spider webs started to appear on her body like tattoos.

It was disgusting. It was ugly.

The lines spread across her body like a riverbed that had been through a long time of drought.

"…Hannah."

The Saint was looking at her with his eyes wide open.

It was at that moment.

"Mm, ugh."

Hannah's body suddenly started to hunch over. A shocked Tasha caught Hannah's body as Hannah's closed eyes started to open. Her pupils were not focused at all.

"C, conscious-."

Mary tried to speak, but she could not speak properly because her entire body was shaking. She seemed to be running out of energy.

Siiizzle.

Mary's hands that were on Hannah's back were creating a path for the dead mana to flow through Hannah's body while absorbing the black smoke coming out of Hannah's body as well.

Siiiiizzle.

Mary's hands were becoming dyed black while burning.

She had been creating a path for dead mana to flow through someone else's body for one hour. That was difficult to do. It was something that only Mary could do, as she was the only human who knew how dead mana flowed through the human body.

A voice started to speak at that moment.

"Hannah."

Cale had walked over next to Hannah's bed. He looked into Hannah's unfocused pupils and started to speak.

"Wake up."

Hannah's fingers slightly twitched.

Hannah still had her golden aura surrounding her body. This showed that she was not completely unconscious.

"…Young master Cale."

Tasha looked at Cale observing Hannah and bit down on her lips.

As a Dark Elf with the darkness attribute, she was not able to help Mary with creating the path through Hannah's body. If she was able to do so, she would have done so to help Mary out many years ago.
Since she could not do anything to help, she had given Mary the book that would let her choose the path of a necromancer. (Pretty sure it was Obante but sure, Tasha. )

"Hannah, you are the one to protect yourself."

Tasha, who had been listening to Cale, put some more strength into propping Hannah up after hearing what Cale had to say. She wanted to save her. She wanted to save this woman that she originally was hesitant about after hearing about her relationship with the Church of the Sun God.

It was at that moment.

"Ah."

Tasha let out a gasp.
Hannah had closed her eyes. However, her pupils had focused before she closed her eyes.

Ooooooooong-

Tasha subconsciously let go of Hannah. A rumbling noise was coming out of Hannah's body.
Hannah was now sitting up straight on her own.

She was breathing roughly as she started to speak through her bleeding lips.

"…I will not die."

Cale started to smile and slowly backed away once more.

At that moment.

Paaaat!

Like the last ember of life, a blinding golden light shot out of Hannah's body. Cale could hear Eruhaben's comment from the side.

"She's putting everything on the line."

Hannah's everything. Hannah was putting everything, including her life on the line, to survive.
At that moment, Cale could hear Mary's voice.

"Mm, haha-."

That was a mixture of a groan and laughter. Cale couldn't see anything because she was covered by the black robe, but he could tell that Mary was happy.

Mary was happy seeing that Hannah was putting everything on the line. At the same time, the sizzling noise from Mary's burning hands became even stronger.

Siiiiiizzle.

It was a disgusting noise. At the same time, even more black smoke started to come out of both Mary and Hannah.
However, Cale did not stop smiling.

'She survived.'

That was what his intuition was telling him.

Hannah would live.

Cale's intuition was usually correct.

Cale quietly continued to look toward the bed which was no longer visible due to the combination of the golden light and the black smoke. He put a hand on the Saint's shoulder while standing next to him.

"Sob, sob."

'He's so emotional.'

Cale was patting the emotional Saint's shoulder. The Saint had felt it as well. He could see that his younger sister was working hard to overcome this hurdle. Because they were family, he intuitively could tell that she would definitely overcome this hurdle.

"Thank you very much, thank you very much."

The Saint was thanking someone, although it wasn't obvious who it was directed toward. In a way, it even seemed like he was praying. Cale continued to listen to the Saint's thank yous as he waited for the procedure to end.

After another hour, Cale could see Mary starting to stand up.

"…She survived."

Hannah was laying on the bed with a relaxed expression. Cale shook his head at Mary's comment. Mary, who had gotten up and was heading toward Cale, suddenly flinched. She then heard what Cale had to say.

"No. Mary, you saved her."

There was a smile on Mary's face, although nobody could see it because of the black robe. At the same time, Tasha's shocked voice filled the room.

"Mary!"

Mary could tell that her body was starting to lean to one side. She had no strength left in her body.
However, she noticed that she did not fall over. Someone had hugged her before she could fall.

Pat. Pat.

She could feel someone's touch over her black robe.

"You worked hard. Get some rest."

It was Cale's voice. Mary closed her eyes without any hesitation after Cale said that.

'I saved her.'

That was the last thought in her mind before Mary fainted.

Cale looked down at the black robe in his arms. He managed to prevent her from falling over, however.

'…I don't think that I can lift her up.'

He was not strong enough to lift her up. His legs were also hurting after standing up for two hours straight.

Cale slowly turned his gaze and made eye contact with Tasha. Tasha, who had been rushing toward Mary before Cale caught her, was standing there with a blank expression. Cale looked toward her and started to speak.

"Tasha."
"Yes … yes?"
"You can move Mary with the Wind Elemental, right?"
"Ah, yes."

Tasha nodded her head. The Wind Elemental would be able to move someone like Mary. Tasha could see Cale starting to smile at her response. He pointed at Mary with his chin and gave the order.

"Move her."

He did not have the strength to move her himself.

Both Hannah and Mary had fainted after the procedure was over, but they had succeeded. Both of them were still alive.

***

"Young master-nim."

Cale turned his head toward the cautious voice calling for him.

"Yes, Saint-nim?"

The Saint hesitated after hearing Cale's response. He looked down at Hannah, who was sleeping peacefully, before asking Cale a question.

"Will that necromancer-nim be okay?"
"Yes, she should be fine. Miss Tasha will look after her."
"…I'm glad. I'm really glad."

The Saint had the holy look of a Saint as he clasped his hands together and started to smile.
However, the smile soon turned into a bitter smile.

The Saint looked down at his sister, Hannah.
Only the two of them, as well as Cale, who came to check in on Hannah, were in the room.

The room where they healed Hannah had turned into a mess, so Hannah had been moved to the room next door.

The Saint felt both admiration and concern after looking down at his sister under a bright light.

The black spider web-like scars were visible on Hannah's face.
Anybody would be able to tell with a glance that she had survived being poisoned by dead mana.

'We will need to live somewhere isolated even if we get away from the Empire.'

They got away from the church only to be chased by the Empire, and even if they got away from the Empire, they needed to avoid people altogether now. He could not help but sigh at their situation.

"…There will be a lot of troubles from here on."
"Do you really think so?"

The Saint nodded his head at Cale's question. However, he did not sound completely defeated.

"Yes. People are wary of the darkness attribute and dead mana. However, now it is my turn to protect my sister."

If they needed to hide away from the judging eyes of the world, it was now his turn to protect Hannah and keep her hidden. Both bitterness and joy were on the Saint's face at the same time.

"We will need to spend our whole lives in hiding because people will easily recognize that Hannah has the darkness attribute after seeing the scars on her face, however, it is enough that she is alive."
"Why do you need to live in hiding?"
"…Excuse me?"

The Saint thought that he did not hear Cale correctly. He turned his gaze away from Hannah and looked toward Cale.

Cale looked confident.

Raon was currently speaking inside Cale's mind.

– Human, that swordmaster seems to have woken up.

Cale let that go in through one ear and out the other as he continued to say what he needed to say.

"Dead mana is a severe poison for humans. The fact that she was able to overcome it and survive is a miracle."

The Saint could see that the way Cale was looking at Hannah the same way as usual. At that moment, this thought crossed his mind.

'Is it because it is young master Cale that he is able to be around a necromancer?'

A Dark Elf, a necromancer, and even a servant with an artificial arm. Cale did not seem to have any issues being around beings with the darkness affinity.

Cale was still speaking as those thoughts crossed the Saint's mind.

"People who have been through a lot have rougher hands. I just consider the scar on her face as a symbol of what she has overcome."

"Ah."

The Saint let out a small gasp.

"I think that someday people will appreciate and celebrate someone who was able to overcome such a burden. Just like how you are thankful toward Mary right now."

The Saint felt like his heart was beating wildly.

He had not purified Mary like his instincts from the Sun God were telling him to do, and now he was thankful to her.
It was because he knew about her story.
He knew about how Mary was poisoned by dead mana and everything she had to overcome to survive.
He also knew that she was willing to suffer through pain in order to save a stranger even after going through so many hardships in her personal life.

The Sun God had said the following to his believers.

Goodness is like a bright light.
No matter how long a human wanders lost in the darkness, a single ray of light could help them continue to live.

Jack, this half Saint who had been living under the oppression of the church, started to understand the teachings that he had been taught. (We finally have a name. )

Jack started to speak.

"Young master Cale, just because someone has the darkness attribute does not mean that they have no good in their heart. That means that the individual is also a source of light, right?"

Jack wanted Cale to answer that for him.
Cale had no problem responding back.

"Saint-nim, a world that understands that fact will soon appear."

Raon started to speak in Cale's mind again.

– Human, look! The swordmaster's eyelids are shaking! I was right about her waking up. I really am great!

Cale ignored this as he continued to speak to the Saint.

"I believe that we can make that world a reality if we work hard."
"You are right. I agree."

The Saint, Jack, nodded his head. A strong desire filled his heart.

"I will work to make sure that such a world is created. Both Hannah and the necromancer-nim just happen to have the darkness attribute. They are still good people who are willing to be that ray of light for the benefit of others. I will work hard to make sure that people can understand that they are good people."

Jack could see Cale starting to smile.

Cale looked past Jack's shoulder and to the bed behind him.

The swordmaster Hannah was starting to open her eyes. She made eye contact with Cale once her eyes completely opened.

Cale looked at her as he started to speak.

"The people who have overcome difficulties must be applauded. The people who have survived through it all have earned that right."

Hannah clearly understood what Cale meant by the people who have survived through it all.

Although it was difficult, Hannah smiled toward Cale. However, that smile was not warm at all.
It was a smile that was a mix of joy for being alive and coldness to get her revenge.

"You are right. Young master Cale, you really are a deep individual."

Cale modestly smiled toward the excited Saint. He looked toward the now real Saint and the fake Holy Maiden who had not forgotten her goal as he started to think.

'I've prepared something to use in order to surprise the Empire.'

The preparations for a show to shake the Empire were now complete.

1. What are WhatsApp Group Links?

WhatsApp Group Links are unique invitation links that allow you to join specific WhatsApp groups. These links act as an entry point, granting you access to conversations and interactions happening within those groups.

Here's a breakdown of the concept:

1. Groups in WhatsApp:

  • WhatsApp allows creating groups where multiple people can chat, share messages, photos, videos, and other media.
  • These groups can be private (invite-only) or public (discoverable through search).

2. Invitation Links:

  • For private groups, admins can generate unique invitation links.
  • Anyone clicking on this link and having WhatsApp installed can join the group directly.
  • Sharing these links is a convenient way to invite specific individuals or spread the word about the group.

3. Finding Group Links:

  • Group admins might share the link directly with individuals they want to invite.
  • Some websites e.g. GroupChatOn, Group4WhatsUp and apps compile and list publicly available group links categorized by interests, topics, or regions. However, be cautious of such sources, as the legitimacy and content of these groups can vary.

Important points to remember:

  • Joining a group through a link adds you to the conversation, and your messages become visible to other members.
  • It's crucial to be mindful of the content you share and the groups you join, as some might not be appropriate or safe.
  • Exercise caution when clicking on links from untrusted sources, as they might lead to malicious groups or scams.

I hope this explanation clarifies the concept of WhatsApp Group Links. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

2. How to join WhatsApp Group?

There are two main ways to join a WhatsApp group:

1. Through Invite Link:

This is the most common method. If you have been invited to a group, you will receive a link from the group admin. Clicking on this link will open WhatsApp and prompt you to join the group. Here's how it works:

  • Click on the invite link. This will open WhatsApp, either on your phone or desktop app.
  • Review the group information. This includes the group name, description, and admin details.
  • Tap "Join group" to confirm you want to join.

2. By Requesting to Join:

Some groups are private and require approval from the admin before you can join. In such cases, you might need to:

  • Contact the group admin directly. This could be someone you know or someone you find through the group's social media page or website (if available).
  • Request to join the group. Explain why you're interested in joining and provide any relevant information the admin might need.
  • Wait for approval. The admin will decide whether to accept or reject your request.

Additional ways to find groups:

  • Online directories: Several websites and apps list public WhatsApp groups categorized by interests. However, be cautious when joining groups from untrusted sources, as they might be spam or contain inappropriate content.
  • Social media groups: Look for groups related to your interests on platforms like Facebook or Reddit. Sometimes, these groups might have links to their corresponding WhatsApp groups.

Important points to remember:

  • Only join groups from trusted sources. Avoid clicking on links from unknown senders or joining groups with suspicious activities.
  • Be mindful of group rules. Each group might have its own set of rules and guidelines. It's important to respect these rules to maintain a positive and respectful environment within the group.
  • Consider leaving if necessary. If you no longer find the group valuable or experience any negativity, you can always leave the group by going to the group info and tapping "Exit group."

I hope this explanation helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

3. How to Share WhatsApp Group Links?

Sharing WhatsApp group links is a convenient way to invite others to join your group. Here's how you can do it on both Android and iOS devices:

1. Through QR Code:

  • Open the WhatsApp group chat.
  • Tap on the group name at the top.
  • Look for the option "Invite to Group via Link" or "Invite to Group with Link."
  • Choose "QR Code" from the available options.
  • This will generate a QR code for your group.
  • Anyone who scans this code with their WhatsApp camera will be able to join the group.
  • Tap "Share" to send the QR code image to others through various platforms like email, social media, or messaging apps.

2. Sharing the Link:

  • Follow steps 1 and 2 mentioned above in the QR code method.
  • Instead of choosing "QR Code," select "Share link" or "Copy link."
  • This will either share the link directly through WhatsApp with your chosen contacts or copy it to your clipboard.
  • You can then paste the copied link into any platform like email, social media posts, or messages to invite others to join.

Additional Notes:

  • Only group admins can generate and share invite links.
  • The link generated is unique to each group and can be revoked by the admin at any time. This will create a new link, rendering the old one invalid.
  • Anyone with the link can join the group, so be cautious about sharing it publicly. Consider sharing it only with trusted individuals or within controlled environments.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • People can find your channel through search, by being invited by existing subscribers, or by scanning your channel's QR code.
  • As the channel owner, you can manage who can see your channel, control who can join as admins, and edit your channel information.

Here are some important things to keep in mind when creating a WhatsApp channel:

  • Content focus: Clearly define the purpose and target audience for your channel to attract relevant subscribers.
  • Quality content: Regularly share engaging and informative content to keep your audience interested.
  • Spam prevention: Avoid excessive or irrelevant content that might overwhelm subscribers.
  • Community guidelines: Adhere to WhatsApp's community guidelines to avoid potential channel suspension.

6. How to create a WhatsApp Broadcast?

Creating a WhatsApp Broadcast allows you to send messages to a selected group of contacts at once, similar to an email list. Unlike groups, recipients cannot see each other's replies or interact with each other within the broadcast. Here's how to create a broadcast on both Android and iOS devices:

On Android:

  1. Open the WhatsApp app.
  2. Tap the "Chats" tab.
  3. Tap the "More options" menu (three dots in the top right corner).
  4. Select "New broadcast".
  5. Select the contacts you want to add to the broadcast list. You can choose up to 256 contacts.

  • Remember to use broadcasts responsibly and avoid spamming your contacts with unwanted messages.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

7. What is member limit for WhatsApp Group?

As of November 2022, the member limit for a WhatsApp group is 1024. This is an increase from the previous limit of 512 members.

Here's a quick breakdown:

  • Previous limit: 512 members
  • Current limit: 1024 members

It's important to note that this limit applies to manually adding members to a group. When using a group invite link, there's no technical limit to the number of people who can join the group. However, it's still recommended to manage the group size effectively to avoid overwhelming participants and maintain a manageable conversation flow.

8. How to Unblock WhatsApp Account?

Unfortunately, there's no guaranteed way to unblock your WhatsApp account if it's been banned. However, depending on the reason for the ban, you might have a few options:

1. Re-register your phone number:

  • This method only works in specific cases and might not always be successful.
  • Steps:
    • Uninstall and re-download the WhatsApp app.
    • During registration, enter the blocked phone number.
    • Enter the 6-digit registration code.
    • If your account is still banned, wait 30 days and try again.

2. Apply for review:

  • This option is available if you believe your account was banned unfairly.
  • Steps:
    • Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
    • Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
    • Click "Support" when prompted.
    • Enter the 6-digit verification code.
    • Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.
  • Note: It can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

Important points to remember:

  • Understanding the reason for the ban: Knowing why your account was banned is crucial. Common reasons include sending illegal content, spamming, using unauthorized apps, or violating WhatsApp's terms of service.
  • Following WhatsApp's guidelines: If your account was banned for violating their terms, it's essential to understand and follow them to avoid future issues.
  • Limited success: There's no guarantee that either of these methods will work. In some cases, WhatsApp might decide to permanently ban your account.

Alternatives:

  • If you're unable to recover your banned account, consider creating a new WhatsApp account with a different phone number. However, remember that repeatedly violating WhatsApp's terms can lead to further bans.

It's crucial to use WhatsApp responsibly and avoid any actions that might lead to account suspension or ban.

9. Why my WhatsApp Account got blocked?

Unfortunately, I cannot determine the specific reason why your WhatsApp account got blocked. However, I can share some common reasons why WhatsApp bans accounts:

  • Violating WhatsApp's Terms of Service: This includes activities like sending illegal content (hate speech, violence, etc.), spamming other users, using unauthorized modified apps, and excessive broadcast messages.
  • Sending inappropriate content: This could involve sharing harmful, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Spamming: Repeatedly sending unsolicited messages to others can lead to account bans.
  • Using unauthorized third-party apps: WhatsApp doesn't support modified versions of their app, and using such apps can violate their terms and lead to bans.
  • Being reported by other users: If a significant number of users report your account for abusive or suspicious activity, WhatsApp might take action.

If you believe your account was banned unfairly, you can try contacting WhatsApp support and explain your situation. They might review your case and decide to unblock your account.

Here's how to contact WhatsApp support:

  1. Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
  2. Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
  3. Click "Support" when prompted.
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code.
  5. Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.

Remember, it can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

It's important to use WhatsApp responsibly and follow their community guidelines to avoid getting your account banned in the future.

10. Which is better WhatsApp or Telegram or Signal?

Determining which app is "better" depends on your individual priorities and needs. Here's a breakdown of their strengths and weaknesses to help you choose:

Signal:

  • Strengths:
    • Strongest focus on privacy and security: End-to-end encryption by default for all messages and calls, open-source code, no data collection or sharing with third parties.
    • Disappearing messages: Option to set messages to disappear after a specific time frame.
    • Simple and user-friendly interface.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Smaller user base compared to WhatsApp and Telegram: This might limit who you can connect with.
    • Fewer features compared to the other two: Lacks features like large group chats, channels, and advanced media editing options.

Telegram:

  • Strengths:
    • Large user base: Easier to connect with a wider range of people.
    • Feature-rich: Offers various features like large group chats (up to 200,000 members), channels (broadcasting to large audiences), bots, and advanced media editing options.
    • Cloud-based storage: Access messages from any device with internet access.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Weaker focus on privacy: End-to-end encryption is only available for "secret chats," not the default messaging option. Some user data is collected and stored on servers.
    • Concerns about potential for misuse: Due to its large user base and some features, Telegram can be misused for spreading misinformation or illegal content.

WhatsApp:

  • Strengths:
    • Largest user base by far: Most convenient for connecting with the widest range of people.
    • Familiar and user-friendly interface for many users.
    • End-to-end encryption for messages and calls: Provides a good level of privacy for communication.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Privacy concerns: Owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), raising concerns about data collection and potential future changes to privacy policies.
    • Limited features compared to Telegram: Lacks features like channels, bots, and advanced media editing options.

Choosing the right app:

  • If privacy is your top priority, Signal is the clear winner.
  • If you need a feature-rich app with a large user base and are comfortable with a slightly weaker focus on privacy, Telegram might be a good option.
  • If you prioritize connecting with the most people and are comfortable with the current level of privacy offered by WhatsApp, it can still be a suitable choice.

Ultimately, the best app for you depends on your individual needs and priorities. Consider what factors are most important to you and choose the app that best aligns with those criteria.

11. How to remove your WhatsApp group link from any website?

Once you have submitted your WhatsApp group invite link to any website then you cannot remove by yourself. So, it is better that you simply "Reset" your WhatsApp group link and people will no longer be able to join your group from your previous shared group links. Whenever they try to join via your old WhatsApp group join link it will show them that the link had been revoked by the group admin. I hope you understand.

12. Does Signal also have Group Chat features?

Yes, Signal does have group chat features. Here's an overview:

Creating a Group:

  • Open the Signal app and tap on the "New group" option.
  • Select the contacts you want to add to the group.
  • Enter a group name and choose an optional disappearing message timer.
  • Tap "Create" to finalize the group creation.

Group Features:

The member limit for a Signal Group is 1000. This means you can add up to 1000 participants to a single group chat in Signal.

It's important to note that unlike WhatsApp which offers unlimited group size through invite links, Signal groups require members to be explicitly added by an admin or join through a specific group link. This helps maintain control over group size and potentially reduces the risk of spam or unwanted additions.

Here are some additional points to consider regarding Signal group size:

  • Larger groups might experience performance limitations: While Signal supports groups of up to 1000 members, very large groups can lead to slower message delivery or loading times, especially for devices with limited resources.
  • Managing large groups can be challenging: As group size increases, it becomes more difficult for admins to effectively manage discussions, ensure everyone feels heard, and prevent potential conflicts.
  • Consider smaller groups for optimal experience: For a more focused and engaging group experience, it's often recommended to keep group sizes smaller, especially for private or close-knit communities.

Ultimately, the ideal group size depends on your specific needs and purposes. If you need a large group for broadcasting information or facilitating discussions with a wider audience, Signal can still be a suitable option. However, for more personal or interactive group communication, keeping the size manageable might be beneficial.
