Chapter 70 – Different than Intended (2)

Cale indifferently observed the tents, warriors, merchants, and other people moving to and from the camp. It made him recall when he was Kim Rok Soo and working different jobs. He suddenly felt tired and had a desire to relax and read a book. However, his face was calm, as usual.

Cale's gaze once again turned toward Hans as he asked Hans a question.

"Will you rest?"
"I am okay, young master-nim!"

Deputy butler Hans could see Cale speaking to him in his usual self.

"Then let's work."

That made Hans feel better. Cale gathered everyone in front of him after verifying that Hans was calm.

Since the Civil War was already over, Cale and crew were able to get to the base in front of the Magic Tower once they showed their identifications. The base was now just filled with people finally getting some rest after the long war.

And the reason they were able to get so far was because Billos had traded materials with the warriors multiple times during the Civil War. They had come under the Flynn Merchant Guild's name.

However, they were going to do something different starting now.

"We came to meet someone named Toonka today. Make sure you do not respond to any provocations before that."

Choi Han, who had been quietly listening, started to speak.

"Who is this person named Toonka?"

"Ah, that Bob guy from before is Toonka. Bob is an alias."

Cale just casually responded to Choi Han as he turned to look at Billos. However, he was able to hear Choi Han's quiet mumbling as he turned.

"…So it is him."
"Huh?"
"It is nothing."

Choi Han responded with a calm expression, so Cale just let it go as he started to speak to Billos.

"Billos, you said you could get to the tent with the chiefs?"
"Yes. However, only about 6 people, including myself, can go."
"It seems like you made quite a bit of money?"

The fact that he was able to have conversations with the chiefs symbolized that Billos had made a lot of money through the Civil War. Billos just smiled and did not say anything else.
At that moment, the invisible Raon started to speak in Cale's mind.

– Funny.

'Now what?'

Cale started to frown.

– I have a feeling that something entertaining will happen.

'Feeling?'

Cale got the chills and caressed his neck as he ignored Raon's words.
He then quickly selected the four people who would go with him.

"Choi Han, Lock, Hilsman."

Cale made eye contact with Rosalyn. She had not said anything after looking around the residence once they arrived. Cale wondered whether she was angry about the death of her fellow mages.

However, what Cale saw in Rosalyn's eyes was the gaze of a royal princess. Rather than getting angry because of the deaths of the mages, she was thinking about the stupidity of the Whipper Kingdom's royal family for keeping things as is until the citizens rebelled like this.

"Miss Rosalyn, you'll be coming, right?"

Rosalyn fixed the large club over her leather armor as she answered.

"Yes."

The people who would go with him had been decided. Cale decided to leave the rest to Hans.

"We will go somewhere quiet and stay there! I will keep everyone safe!"

Cale could see On and Hong snorting at deputy butler Hans's words. At the same time, they were asking Cale with their eyes.

'When will we go to the Magic Tower?'

Cale responded back with a gaze.

'Just wait a bit.'

They will soon be able to get to the location for the kittens to run wild.

"Let's go."
"Yes sir."

Billos put on a large necklace with the Flynn Merchant Guild crest on it and took the lead. Cale followed behind him.

As soon as they entered into the base, they could feel multiple sharp gazes falling on them.

"Just look forward."

Everyone looked forward like Cale said. The non-mage faction was made of citizens, knights, and the magic-resistant individuals. Cale's group stood out like a sore thumb amongst the faction members, who were all covered in blood.

Cale could see the non-mage faction members in front of him as well.

'I guess they haven't had enough.'

They wanted war. He could feel the madness and chaos in the air around him. Cale recalled how Toonka had taken control of the Whipper Kingdom royalty and made them his puppets before rushing to fight with the Queen of the Jungle and the Empire.

He took the time to look at the soldiers under the command of a tyrant like Toonka. They did not come up to provoke them or fight with them. They were just mesmerized by Toonka, who they instinctually feared. However, none of them backed away either. They just continued to viciously stare at Cale, who looked like a noble.

"We are here."

Billos stood in front of a tent. It was not very deep in the base, as Cale had expected. It was only a bit away from the entrance.

"Honestly speaking, the chiefs-."
"Billos."

Cale cut Billos off because he knew what Billos was going to say.

The non-mage faction thinks that they destroyed their, 'rationality,' but in reality, a different kind of rationality had exploded in its place.

Are only mages smart? Are they the only educated ones?

No. There were many others who were educated as well. The scientists had come under Toonka because they were tired of being suppressed by the mages.

'They hate magic even more than Toonka does.'

You could just consider them to be crazy. It is even scarier when smart people go crazy.

"Contact them."
"Yes sir."

Billos approached the largest tents in the chiefs' section. A warrior approached him to guide him and watch him.

The chiefs' tent. There were many more warriors here than the other areas. It was interesting that Toonka had no problem throwing away weak warriors but were protecting these chiefs.

'That is why he couldn't become a real hero.'

Cale ignored the sharp gazes of the guards and waited for Billos to come back with the chiefs. He just needed to ask them to meet with Toonka and they would probably welcome it with open arms.

However.

'Why does my neck feel so cold?'

Cale looked around to see what might be causing this odd feeling. Billos was taking longer than he had expected. It should not take this long to come back with a single person.

– Human.

Raon's low voice rang in Cale's mind as the entrance flap to the tent Billos entered started to move. It looked like a large person was trying to run out.

'No way?'

Suddenly, Choi Han, who had been standing behind Cale, stepped in front of Cale with a stiff expression.

"Choi Han?"
"I have a bad feeling about this."
"What?"

Riiip! The tent entrance ripped open.

"I smell it! I smell the scent of a strong person! Muahahahaha! This is perfect! I was so bored!"

A large man covered in blood revealed himself. Behind him was a man and a woman who were slightly smaller than him, but still quite large.

"Sigh."

Cale let out a sigh.

The crazy person who was covered in blood as if he had showered in mage blood was naturally Toonka. As usual, Toonka was accurately looking at a specific location.

"It's you!"

He was looking at Choi Han, who was protecting Cale from him. Toonka did not seem to even see Cale behind Choi Han.

"The other ones smell strong too, but you seem to be the strongest! I can't sleep while smelling such a scent!"

Cale decided he needed to step forward. However, Choi Han asked in a very low voice.

"Is he Toonka?"
"Oh, you recognized him right away."

Cale just answered Choi Han's question without thinking, and Toonka pointed to Choi Han at the same time.

"Fight me. Aren't your hands itching too?"

Cale let out a sigh. Toonka really never seemed to change.

Choi Han would naturally decline as his personality was not one who would fight for no reason. He would definitely not fight with someone he had just met.

Cale tried to walk past Choi Han, who was in front of him. That was when he heard Choi Han's voice.

"Sure."

'What?'

Raon's voice echoed in Cale's head.

– Just as I expected. I, the great and mighty Raon, is smart!

Contrary to Raon's excited voice, Cale started to frown.

On the other hand, Toonka licked his lips after seeing the way Choi Han was glaring at him. He only had Choi Han in his eyes and did not see anybody else. Choi Han had the strongest scent here. It was the same scent that made him think of the Whale people who were staring back at him in the Ubarr territory.

"Kekeke, yes, I like that type of gaze."

Toonka was excited. He felt like he could have a physical fight, one that did not rely on crap like magic.

Choi Han put his hand on the hilt of his blade after seeing the madness in Toonka's eyes. He was calm, but his gaze seemed like it wanted to chop Toonka in half.

Screech.

A part of the blade came out of the scabbard.
It was at that moment.

Squeeze.

Choi Han felt a strong grip on his shoulder and suddenly got the chills. He had felt this once before.

It was the same pressure that caught everyone's attention when they were with the Whales. A quiet yet emotionless voice reached Choi Han's ear.

"Choi Han."

Cale was looking at him. Cale wasn't blaming him or giving him a command, but his gaze seemed to be extremely deep. That gaze made Choi Han subconsciously let go of the blade.

Click.

The blade was pushed back into the scabbard.

"Are you trying to fight right now?"

The Dominating Aura was surrounding Cale's entire body right now. He walked past Choi Han and faced Toonka.

The stench of blood filled his nose.

"Toonka."

Cale needed to stand above Toonka now. It became a little more complicated, but he decided that he might as well use this opportunity. Cale pushed back his red hair and greeted the blankly staring Toonka.

"Long time no see."

"You, you ar-"

Toonka did not recognize him right away. However, as soon as he saw the red hair, he thought of a single person. However, this person in front of him was too different from the last time they had met. He clenched his fist. An unexplainable feeling was coming out of this bastard in front of him.

The bastard that shoved him in the ocean and looked down on him, Cale Henituse. His gaze was the same as two months ago. The man he saw two months ago asked him a question.

"Do you want to fight?"

Cale had a calm smile as he asked. However, he did not wait for Toonka's response.

"Choi Han."
"…Yes sir."

Choi Han could not help but nod his head at Cale's indifferent voice.

"Fight him if you want."

Choi Han could only answer in one way.

"I will definitely win."

Choi Han put his hand back on the hilt of his blade. His tightly clenched fist let him feel a stronger desire than before. Cale then turned toward Toonka, who was slowly starting to smile. Toonka then let out a loud laugh.

"Muhahahahahahahha!"

It was so loud it echoed through the base. However, Toonka was still nervous. The person in front of him was definitely weak, however!

There was an aura that dominated this area. Toonka ignored that aura and shouted even louder. He was excited. His body was heating up. Blood, he needed to see blood.

"Let's fight! Great! Very good!"

In that moment, Raon was scoffing at Toonka as he spoke to Cale.

– He's crazy for a beating. What an idiot. Our side is much stronger!

It was only obvious. Toonka would probably get beaten to a pulp.

Choi Han was not the type to go easy in a fight. Cale looked toward the even crazier looking Toonka, who was laughing like a maniac, and started to speak to Choi Han.

"No need to hold back."

That made Choi Han start to smile. This smile did not look pure and innocent at all. That smile satisfied Cale and he called over to Toonka.

"Bob."

The sudden return of his alias from two months ago made Toonka stop laughing. Cale then glanced at Toonka's subordinates, as well as the warriors who were slowly approaching the chiefs' tents and the people who were too scared to move. He looked back at Toonka afterward and started to speak.

"Set it up."

They might as well do it right if they were going to fight anyway.

1. What are WhatsApp Group Links?

WhatsApp Group Links are unique invitation links that allow you to join specific WhatsApp groups. These links act as an entry point, granting you access to conversations and interactions happening within those groups.

Here's a breakdown of the concept:

1. Groups in WhatsApp:

  • WhatsApp allows creating groups where multiple people can chat, share messages, photos, videos, and other media.
  • These groups can be private (invite-only) or public (discoverable through search).

2. Invitation Links:

  • For private groups, admins can generate unique invitation links.
  • Anyone clicking on this link and having WhatsApp installed can join the group directly.
  • Sharing these links is a convenient way to invite specific individuals or spread the word about the group.

3. Finding Group Links:

  • Group admins might share the link directly with individuals they want to invite.
  • Some websites e.g. GroupChatOn, Group4WhatsUp and apps compile and list publicly available group links categorized by interests, topics, or regions. However, be cautious of such sources, as the legitimacy and content of these groups can vary.

Important points to remember:

  • Joining a group through a link adds you to the conversation, and your messages become visible to other members.
  • It's crucial to be mindful of the content you share and the groups you join, as some might not be appropriate or safe.
  • Exercise caution when clicking on links from untrusted sources, as they might lead to malicious groups or scams.

I hope this explanation clarifies the concept of WhatsApp Group Links. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

2. How to join WhatsApp Group?

There are two main ways to join a WhatsApp group:

1. Through Invite Link:

This is the most common method. If you have been invited to a group, you will receive a link from the group admin. Clicking on this link will open WhatsApp and prompt you to join the group. Here's how it works:

  • Click on the invite link. This will open WhatsApp, either on your phone or desktop app.
  • Review the group information. This includes the group name, description, and admin details.
  • Tap "Join group" to confirm you want to join.

2. By Requesting to Join:

Some groups are private and require approval from the admin before you can join. In such cases, you might need to:

  • Contact the group admin directly. This could be someone you know or someone you find through the group's social media page or website (if available).
  • Request to join the group. Explain why you're interested in joining and provide any relevant information the admin might need.
  • Wait for approval. The admin will decide whether to accept or reject your request.

Additional ways to find groups:

  • Online directories: Several websites and apps list public WhatsApp groups categorized by interests. However, be cautious when joining groups from untrusted sources, as they might be spam or contain inappropriate content.
  • Social media groups: Look for groups related to your interests on platforms like Facebook or Reddit. Sometimes, these groups might have links to their corresponding WhatsApp groups.

Important points to remember:

  • Only join groups from trusted sources. Avoid clicking on links from unknown senders or joining groups with suspicious activities.
  • Be mindful of group rules. Each group might have its own set of rules and guidelines. It's important to respect these rules to maintain a positive and respectful environment within the group.
  • Consider leaving if necessary. If you no longer find the group valuable or experience any negativity, you can always leave the group by going to the group info and tapping "Exit group."

I hope this explanation helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

3. How to Share WhatsApp Group Links?

Sharing WhatsApp group links is a convenient way to invite others to join your group. Here's how you can do it on both Android and iOS devices:

1. Through QR Code:

  • Open the WhatsApp group chat.
  • Tap on the group name at the top.
  • Look for the option "Invite to Group via Link" or "Invite to Group with Link."
  • Choose "QR Code" from the available options.
  • This will generate a QR code for your group.
  • Anyone who scans this code with their WhatsApp camera will be able to join the group.
  • Tap "Share" to send the QR code image to others through various platforms like email, social media, or messaging apps.

2. Sharing the Link:

  • Follow steps 1 and 2 mentioned above in the QR code method.
  • Instead of choosing "QR Code," select "Share link" or "Copy link."
  • This will either share the link directly through WhatsApp with your chosen contacts or copy it to your clipboard.
  • You can then paste the copied link into any platform like email, social media posts, or messages to invite others to join.

Additional Notes:

  • Only group admins can generate and share invite links.
  • The link generated is unique to each group and can be revoked by the admin at any time. This will create a new link, rendering the old one invalid.
  • Anyone with the link can join the group, so be cautious about sharing it publicly. Consider sharing it only with trusted individuals or within controlled environments.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • As the channel owner, you can manage who can see your channel, control who can join as admins, and edit your channel information.

Here are some important things to keep in mind when creating a WhatsApp channel:

  • Content focus: Clearly define the purpose and target audience for your channel to attract relevant subscribers.
  • Quality content: Regularly share engaging and informative content to keep your audience interested.
  • Spam prevention: Avoid excessive or irrelevant content that might overwhelm subscribers.
  • Community guidelines: Adhere to WhatsApp's community guidelines to avoid potential channel suspension.

6. How to create a WhatsApp Broadcast?

Creating a WhatsApp Broadcast allows you to send messages to a selected group of contacts at once, similar to an email list. Unlike groups, recipients cannot see each other's replies or interact with each other within the broadcast. Here's how to create a broadcast on both Android and iOS devices:

On Android:

  1. Open the WhatsApp app.
  2. Tap the "Chats" tab.
  3. Tap the "More options" menu (three dots in the top right corner).

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

7. What is member limit for WhatsApp Group?

As of November 2022, the member limit for a WhatsApp group is 1024. This is an increase from the previous limit of 512 members.

Here's a quick breakdown:

  • Previous limit: 512 members
  • Current limit: 1024 members

It's important to note that this limit applies to manually adding members to a group. When using a group invite link, there's no technical limit to the number of people who can join the group. However, it's still recommended to manage the group size effectively to avoid overwhelming participants and maintain a manageable conversation flow.

8. How to Unblock WhatsApp Account?

Unfortunately, there's no guaranteed way to unblock your WhatsApp account if it's been banned. However, depending on the reason for the ban, you might have a few options:

1. Re-register your phone number:

  • This method only works in specific cases and might not always be successful.
  • Steps:
    • Uninstall and re-download the WhatsApp app.
    • During registration, enter the blocked phone number.
    • Enter the 6-digit registration code.
    • If your account is still banned, wait 30 days and try again.

2. Apply for review:

  • This option is available if you believe your account was banned unfairly.
  • Steps:
    • Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
    • Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
    • Click "Support" when prompted.
    • Enter the 6-digit verification code.
    • Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.
  • Note: It can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

Important points to remember:

  • Understanding the reason for the ban: Knowing why your account was banned is crucial. Common reasons include sending illegal content, spamming, using unauthorized apps, or violating WhatsApp's terms of service.
  • Following WhatsApp's guidelines: If your account was banned for violating their terms, it's essential to understand and follow them to avoid future issues.
  • Limited success: There's no guarantee that either of these methods will work. In some cases, WhatsApp might decide to permanently ban your account.

Alternatives:

  • If you're unable to recover your banned account, consider creating a new WhatsApp account with a different phone number. However, remember that repeatedly violating WhatsApp's terms can lead to further bans.

It's crucial to use WhatsApp responsibly and avoid any actions that might lead to account suspension or ban.

9. Why my WhatsApp Account got blocked?

Unfortunately, I cannot determine the specific reason why your WhatsApp account got blocked. However, I can share some common reasons why WhatsApp bans accounts:

  • Violating WhatsApp's Terms of Service: This includes activities like sending illegal content (hate speech, violence, etc.), spamming other users, using unauthorized modified apps, and excessive broadcast messages.
  • Sending inappropriate content: This could involve sharing harmful, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Spamming: Repeatedly sending unsolicited messages to others can lead to account bans.
  • Using unauthorized third-party apps: WhatsApp doesn't support modified versions of their app, and using such apps can violate their terms and lead to bans.
  • Being reported by other users: If a significant number of users report your account for abusive or suspicious activity, WhatsApp might take action.

If you believe your account was banned unfairly, you can try contacting WhatsApp support and explain your situation. They might review your case and decide to unblock your account.

Here's how to contact WhatsApp support:

  1. Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
  2. Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
  3. Click "Support" when prompted.
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code.
  5. Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.

Remember, it can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

It's important to use WhatsApp responsibly and follow their community guidelines to avoid getting your account banned in the future.

10. Which is better WhatsApp or Telegram or Signal?

Determining which app is "better" depends on your individual priorities and needs. Here's a breakdown of their strengths and weaknesses to help you choose:

Signal:

  • Strengths:
    • Strongest focus on privacy and security: End-to-end encryption by default for all messages and calls, open-source code, no data collection or sharing with third parties.
    • Disappearing messages: Option to set messages to disappear after a specific time frame.
    • Simple and user-friendly interface.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Smaller user base compared to WhatsApp and Telegram: This might limit who you can connect with.
    • Fewer features compared to the other two: Lacks features like large group chats, channels, and advanced media editing options.

Telegram:

  • Strengths:
    • Large user base: Easier to connect with a wider range of people.
    • Feature-rich: Offers various features like large group chats (up to 200,000 members), channels (broadcasting to large audiences), bots, and advanced media editing options.
    • Cloud-based storage: Access messages from any device with internet access.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Weaker focus on privacy: End-to-end encryption is only available for "secret chats," not the default messaging option. Some user data is collected and stored on servers.
    • Concerns about potential for misuse: Due to its large user base and some features, Telegram can be misused for spreading misinformation or illegal content.

WhatsApp:

  • Strengths:
    • Largest user base by far: Most convenient for connecting with the widest range of people.
    • Familiar and user-friendly interface for many users.
    • End-to-end encryption for messages and calls: Provides a good level of privacy for communication.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Privacy concerns: Owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), raising concerns about data collection and potential future changes to privacy policies.
    • Limited features compared to Telegram: Lacks features like channels, bots, and advanced media editing options.

Choosing the right app:

  • If privacy is your top priority, Signal is the clear winner.
  • If you need a feature-rich app with a large user base and are comfortable with a slightly weaker focus on privacy, Telegram might be a good option.
  • If you prioritize connecting with the most people and are comfortable with the current level of privacy offered by WhatsApp, it can still be a suitable choice.

Ultimately, the best app for you depends on your individual needs and priorities. Consider what factors are most important to you and choose the app that best aligns with those criteria.

11. How to remove your WhatsApp group link from any website?

Once you have submitted your WhatsApp group invite link to any website then you cannot remove by yourself. So, it is better that you simply "Reset" your WhatsApp group link and people will no longer be able to join your group from your previous shared group links. Whenever they try to join via your old WhatsApp group join link it will show them that the link had been revoked by the group admin. I hope you understand.

12. Does Signal also have Group Chat features?

Yes, Signal does have group chat features. Here's an overview:

Creating a Group:

  • Open the Signal app and tap on the "New group" option.
  • Select the contacts you want to add to the group.
  • Enter a group name and choose an optional disappearing message timer.
  • Tap "Create" to finalize the group creation.

Group Features:

  • Group size limit: Up to 1000 members can be added to a Signal group.
  • End-to-end encryption: All messages and calls within the group are encrypted by default, ensuring privacy.
  • Group info and settings: Admins can edit the group name, description, and photo. They can also control who can edit group info, send messages, and start calls.
  • @mentions: You can mention specific members within the group chat by using the "@" symbol followed by their username.
  • Disappearing messages: Admins can set a timer for messages to disappear automatically after a chosen duration.
  • Group calls: Both voice and video calls can be initiated within the group, with the same end-to-end encryption for added security.

Here are some additional points to consider:

The member limit for a Signal Group is 1000. This means you can add up to 1000 participants to a single group chat in Signal.

It's important to note that unlike WhatsApp which offers unlimited group size through invite links, Signal groups require members to be explicitly added by an admin or join through a specific group link. This helps maintain control over group size and potentially reduces the risk of spam or unwanted additions.

Here are some additional points to consider regarding Signal group size:

  • Larger groups might experience performance limitations: While Signal supports groups of up to 1000 members, very large groups can lead to slower message delivery or loading times, especially for devices with limited resources.
  • Managing large groups can be challenging: As group size increases, it becomes more difficult for admins to effectively manage discussions, ensure everyone feels heard, and prevent potential conflicts.
  • Consider smaller groups for optimal experience: For a more focused and engaging group experience, it's often recommended to keep group sizes smaller, especially for private or close-knit communities.

Ultimately, the ideal group size depends on your specific needs and purposes. If you need a large group for broadcasting information or facilitating discussions with a wider audience, Signal can still be a suitable option. However, for more personal or interactive group communication, keeping the size manageable might be beneficial.
