Chapter 494 – Do you hear a dog barking somewhere? (6)

Jopis, who was wearing a robe, looked around.

"There are many sirs I am meeting for the first time."

Everybody other than Cale and Choi Han were people she had never met before. Choi Han and Jopis made eye contact.
It was at that moment.

"Ahhhhh!"

On the path heading from the village to Jopis's house… A guard was screaming in the middle of that path.

"Grrrrrr-"

A large wild dog slammed his body into the guard and sent the guard rolling on the ground.
Other wild dogs surrounded him as well.

"Y, you- Princess Jopis!"

He was not a regular guard. He was the leader of the guards who had come to check on Jopis as soon as he saw that there was turmoil in the village.

"Pfft."

Choi Han turned toward the source of the laughter. The corners of Jopis's lips were up and made her look like a painting.

"Y, you think you'll be fine after doing this? Her majesty will kill you-"

The guard shouted but he could not finish his sentence.

"D, don't come any closer!"

Numerous dogs were moving toward him. The guard felt fear because the large number of dogs looked extremely scary as well. The dogs had vicious gazes that looked ready to turn him into their prey at any moment.
He urgently swung the sword in his hand.

"I won't leave you alone if you come any closer, ugh!"

One of the puppies bit his hand at that moment and another puppy immediately grabbed the sword the man dropped and ran away.

A total of four puppies gathered around Jopis.
Jopis looked at the sword in the puppy's mouth and started to speak.

"Throw the trash away."

Tang!

The sword fell to the ground as the four puppies stood on top of the magic circle.
Fluffy who was in Cale's arms jumped down to the ground as well.

"Awooooooooooooo–"

She then let out a cry.

Awooooooooooo-
Kwaaaaaah, aaaaah-
Awooo- ooooooo-

He then heard other dogs responding throughout the entire Molden mountain range. Cale looked around for a bit before looking toward Jopis and starting to speak.

"I plan on stopping by somewhere before we head to the capital."
"Is it the northern region?"

Cale nodded his head instead of responding and Jopis let the teleportation magic circle take control of her body. She did not see a mage, but she did not ask anything as everybody else seemed to have no issues letting the magic circle take control.

– Human, here we go!

Cale heard Raon's voice in his head and the magic circle flashed as the teleportation activated.

* * *

Jopis kept her eyes closed and grabbed her arm as she felt the teleportation.

'I have goosebumps.'

She had goosebumps on her arms.

They had started to appear when she saw the dirt wall shooting up through the window of her house on top of the hill.

It was time.
It was time to get her freedom back.
Actually, she might be even freer than she was in the past.
Realizing that fact sent electricity throughout her body.

As the dirt wall had surrounded and secluded the village from the rest of the world to make the watchdogs unable to get out…
And as she heard the knocks on her old house door…
She had been delighted.

And now…

"Looks like we have arrived."

She felt that she had finally left the hill and opened her eyes as a cold chill that was much colder than what she was used to in the Molden Kingdom entered through the gaps in her robe.

'Mm.'

She then held back a gasp.

They were in a forest.
She could see a mountain full of trees that seemed to be piercing through the sky.
The peak of the mountain was covered in white snow.

This was the northern region.

"You came quickly."

She heard Mercenary King Bud's calm tone as well as the sound of the strong winds rushing past her.
Only the Mercenary King and Glenn were at the bottom of the mountain.
Jopis could see Bud's stiff expression as Cale took a golden stick out and held it in his hand.

"Where are they?"

Jopis could see the forest start to shake after Cale's statement.

Wind was blowing from the mountain.
The leaves started to shake and she could then see sparkling eyes through the darkness.

Tens, no, hundreds, of eyes appeared in the dark forest.

'…Elves.'

They belonged to the Elves.
Jopis felt chills again. There were some Elves and Dark Elves who had teleported with them just now. Furthermore, she also knew that the people who turned the village into chaos were Elves as well.

Jopis thought that there would be a large number of Elves and Dark Elves when Cale mentioned that they would be fighting as well.
However, there was a limit to the number of Elves and Dark Elves she had expected.

'I didn't know there were so many Elves and Dark Elves.'

However, the numbers were beyond her wildest imaginations.

"…I didn't know they would send so many of them."

This was the same for Bud.
He looked toward Cale with a complicated mind. Bud did seem to be calmer than before as he jokingly asked.

"I thought you brought every Elf on the Eastern continent over."
"But I did?"
"…What?"

Cale had the top's whip in his hand as he responded to Bud.

"Other than a small number of them, every Elf warrior on the Eastern continent and the Western continent will gather in the northern region. The core warriors will gather here to help with the search."

He turned his head.

"Sorros, where are you?"

An Elf climbed down from a tree and landed in front of Cale.

"Nice to meet you, oh Messenger."

He was the World Tree's Messenger to be more specific, but he kept the World Tree out because they were around other humans.

"Just call me Commander."
"I understand."

Sorros. He was the greatest warrior in the Elf Village with the World Tree and Adite.
However, he was over 70 years old in human years and had passed on the position of the greatest warrior to someone else.

However, he was participating as a warrior this time as he was still able to fight and was the Western continent's Elf with the most experience interacting with the Eastern continent's Elves.

"I leave the search to you."
"Please do not worry, Commander-nim."

Sorros was placed in charge of the entire Elven search team.
Sorros was not the only one Cale had asked to search.

'Don't worry!'
'Chaos, destruction, despair. I should go with you.'
'You're fine! Cale, I'll do a good job!'

Cale also had the smartest of the three Elementals that followed him around searching.

"…Is it okay if I don't go to the capital?"

Bud bit down on his lips as he asked Cale.

"It's fine. You already sent some people to help us."
"…It's still only about 100 people."

Bud had sent about 100 mercenaries who met Cale's conditions even during this busy and chaotic time.

"It's fine. That's enough."

Cale was thinking that Bud had already done everything he could by sending those 100 mercenaries. In fact, he was thankful that Bud helped him even during such a chaotic time.
He then reached his hand out toward Bud.

"I'll be back as soon as we take care of things in the palace."
"...Okay."

Bud grabbed Cale's hand and the two men had a short handshake. Cale then motioned to Sorros with his eyes.
Sorros started to whistle.

"Piiiii——"

Shhhhhhh-

The trees shook as the Elves disappeared.
A magic circle appeared under Cale's foot again.

"Commander-nim."
"What can I do for you?"

Jopis opened and closed her mouth a few times before starting to speak.

"You'll need a large number of people to strike the Molden palace."
"Please don't worry."

They were now teleporting to the capital now.

"There are more Elves, Dark Elves, and our allies in the world than you could ever imagine."
"Ha!"

Jopis laughed.

"I really seemed to have made a deal with someone who is worse than the Demonic race."

They then teleported once again.

* * *

In a nearby forest where they could see the walls of the Molden Kingdom's capital. Cale reached his hand out to Jopis.

"Please give it to me."

Two maps soon ended up in Cale's hand.
One was a map of the Molden palace.
Jopis then pointed to the other map.

"There was a time when I created a plan to fix up the capital's roads as we fixed the roads throughout the Molden Kingdom. Of course, it was just my own thoughts."

It was a small map filled with a lot of information.

"This map marks every path inside the Molden Kingdom's capital. It shows all paths both above ground and underground. Though, this is the map of things prior to when I was exiled."

Of course, some roads might have changed.
But it did not matter.

"My friends will discover any roads that have changed."

She pointed to the capital and gave the order.

"Time to go."
"Ruff, ruff!"

The five puppies responded quietly.
She then continued to speak to the puppies.

"And drag in every dog in the capital."

It looked as if Fluffy was smiling in response.
Her sharp fangs appeared for a moment before they disappeared.
At the same time, the other four puppies other than Fluffy moved out in different directions.

Once night ended and the sun started to rise over Renche, the Molden Kingdom's capital…

"…Hey Puffy, what's wrong?"
"Whimper. Whimper."

Everybody in the capital woke up to a similar but slightly different morning.

"Hey Tree. Time to eat breakfast."
"Ruff!"

A person who woke up to feed her dog…

"Hmm? Something is weird."

People who woke up early to open up their shops…

"Wow!"

And the children who came out to play as soon as they woke up.
All of them were greeted by a slightly different morning than usual.

"Hey Puffy, did you bring a friend over? Your friend's fur looks very fluffy."
"Hey Tree, why are you so excited today?"
"Wait, were there always this many dogs in the plaza?"
"Wow! Puppies! So many puppies!"

There were many dogs wagging their tails and greeting people throughout Renche, the Molden Kingdom's capital.
There was also a carriage moving past the castle gates.

"Wow. I never expected to enter the Molden Kingdom!"
"Are you happy?"
"Of course!"

Merchant Billos with his fat cheeks.
The bastard of the Western continent's Flynn Merchant Guild and the person who would soon take the position of successor.
He had appeared for the first time in a while to lead the carriage through Renche's castle gate. Behind him were carriages that the Mercenary King had helped gather with the 'Fylin' Merchant Guild crest that Billos has quickly created to put on them.

"Fylin instead of Flynn! Keke, I think it would be fine to enter the Eastern continent as the Fylin Merchant Guild too. But Patriarch-nim…"

Billos quietly asked the person next to him.

"…It doesn't look like they were noticed."

Billos could see Ron smiling at him.

"They are people who lived in hiding for fifteen years."

However, his eyes were cold.
The carriages that were said to be carrying wheat and other grains were full of the Molan Household's people.
The assassins who had been hiding throughout the Eastern continent from Arm had gathered until the Molan Household that had opened its wings again.
Some of them were alone while others came with their families.

The people who were talented enough to disguise themselves and hide from Arm were now all entering the Molden Kingdom's capital.

"Father."
"I know."

He responded to Beacrox's serious expression with a smile.

"We need to do well on our first mission."

This would be the Molan Household's first mission.
Billos looked back and forth between Ron and Beacrox before starting to speak.

"Cale-nim should already be on his way to the palace, right?"
"That is probably the case."

Beacrox focused on the palace at the center of Renche as soon as they made it through the gate.
He recalled Cale's order.

'There will be a sudden ruckus at the palace. The Molan household will infiltrate the palace at that moment.'

Beacrox who recalled the order was wearing a palace chef's uniform while Ron was wearing a Molden palace servant uniform.
Even the other members of the Molan household hiding in the carts were wearing different palace employee uniforms.

'Who will cause the ruckus?'
'Obviously…'

Cale had smiled before he responded.

'…Me. I will do it. You know there are also a lot of people around me who would do a good job if they set their mind to it.'

Beacrox could not say anything about that as it was the truth.
Cale who was heading to the palace at that same time said the following.

"This is damn hard."

1. What are WhatsApp Group Links?

WhatsApp Group Links are unique invitation links that allow you to join specific WhatsApp groups. These links act as an entry point, granting you access to conversations and interactions happening within those groups.

Here's a breakdown of the concept:

1. Groups in WhatsApp:

  • WhatsApp allows creating groups where multiple people can chat, share messages, photos, videos, and other media.
  • These groups can be private (invite-only) or public (discoverable through search).

2. Invitation Links:

  • For private groups, admins can generate unique invitation links.
  • Anyone clicking on this link and having WhatsApp installed can join the group directly.
  • Sharing these links is a convenient way to invite specific individuals or spread the word about the group.

3. Finding Group Links:

  • Group admins might share the link directly with individuals they want to invite.
  • Some websites e.g. GroupChatOn, Group4WhatsUp and apps compile and list publicly available group links categorized by interests, topics, or regions. However, be cautious of such sources, as the legitimacy and content of these groups can vary.

Important points to remember:

  • Joining a group through a link adds you to the conversation, and your messages become visible to other members.
  • It's crucial to be mindful of the content you share and the groups you join, as some might not be appropriate or safe.
  • Exercise caution when clicking on links from untrusted sources, as they might lead to malicious groups or scams.

I hope this explanation clarifies the concept of WhatsApp Group Links. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

2. How to join WhatsApp Group?

There are two main ways to join a WhatsApp group:

1. Through Invite Link:

This is the most common method. If you have been invited to a group, you will receive a link from the group admin. Clicking on this link will open WhatsApp and prompt you to join the group. Here's how it works:

  • Click on the invite link. This will open WhatsApp, either on your phone or desktop app.
  • Review the group information. This includes the group name, description, and admin details.
  • Tap "Join group" to confirm you want to join.

2. By Requesting to Join:

Some groups are private and require approval from the admin before you can join. In such cases, you might need to:

  • Contact the group admin directly. This could be someone you know or someone you find through the group's social media page or website (if available).
  • Request to join the group. Explain why you're interested in joining and provide any relevant information the admin might need.
  • Wait for approval. The admin will decide whether to accept or reject your request.

Additional ways to find groups:

  • Online directories: Several websites and apps list public WhatsApp groups categorized by interests. However, be cautious when joining groups from untrusted sources, as they might be spam or contain inappropriate content.
  • Social media groups: Look for groups related to your interests on platforms like Facebook or Reddit. Sometimes, these groups might have links to their corresponding WhatsApp groups.

Important points to remember:

  • Only join groups from trusted sources. Avoid clicking on links from unknown senders or joining groups with suspicious activities.
  • Be mindful of group rules. Each group might have its own set of rules and guidelines. It's important to respect these rules to maintain a positive and respectful environment within the group.
  • Consider leaving if necessary. If you no longer find the group valuable or experience any negativity, you can always leave the group by going to the group info and tapping "Exit group."

I hope this explanation helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

3. How to Share WhatsApp Group Links?

Sharing WhatsApp group links is a convenient way to invite others to join your group. Here's how you can do it on both Android and iOS devices:

1. Through QR Code:

  • Open the WhatsApp group chat.
  • Tap on the group name at the top.
  • Look for the option "Invite to Group via Link" or "Invite to Group with Link."
  • Choose "QR Code" from the available options.
  • This will generate a QR code for your group.
  • Anyone who scans this code with their WhatsApp camera will be able to join the group.
  • Tap "Share" to send the QR code image to others through various platforms like email, social media, or messaging apps.

2. Sharing the Link:

  • Follow steps 1 and 2 mentioned above in the QR code method.
  • Instead of choosing "QR Code," select "Share link" or "Copy link."
  • This will either share the link directly through WhatsApp with your chosen contacts or copy it to your clipboard.
  • You can then paste the copied link into any platform like email, social media posts, or messages to invite others to join.

Additional Notes:

  • Only group admins can generate and share invite links.
  • The link generated is unique to each group and can be revoked by the admin at any time. This will create a new link, rendering the old one invalid.
  • Anyone with the link can join the group, so be cautious about sharing it publicly. Consider sharing it only with trusted individuals or within controlled environments.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • People can find your channel through search, by being invited by existing subscribers, or by scanning your channel's QR code.
  • As the channel owner, you can manage who can see your channel, control who can join as admins, and edit your channel information.

Here are some important things to keep in mind when creating a WhatsApp channel:

  • Content focus: Clearly define the purpose and target audience for your channel to attract relevant subscribers.
  • Quality content: Regularly share engaging and informative content to keep your audience interested.
  • Spam prevention: Avoid excessive or irrelevant content that might overwhelm subscribers.
  • Community guidelines: Adhere to WhatsApp's community guidelines to avoid potential channel suspension.

I hope this explanation helps you create and manage your WhatsApp channel effectively!

6. How to create a WhatsApp Broadcast?

Creating a WhatsApp Broadcast allows you to send messages to a selected group of contacts at once, similar to an email list. Unlike groups, recipients cannot see each other's replies or interact with each other within the broadcast. Here's how to create a broadcast on both Android and iOS devices:

On Android:

  1. Open the WhatsApp app.
  2. Tap the "Chats" tab.
  3. Tap the "More options" menu (three dots in the top right corner).
  4. Select "New broadcast".
  5. Select the contacts you want to add to the broadcast list. You can choose up to 256 contacts.

  • Recipients will receive your message as a regular individual chat, but they won't see who else is on the broadcast list.
  • Remember to use broadcasts responsibly and avoid spamming your contacts with unwanted messages.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

7. What is member limit for WhatsApp Group?

As of November 2022, the member limit for a WhatsApp group is 1024. This is an increase from the previous limit of 512 members.

Here's a quick breakdown:

  • Previous limit: 512 members
  • Current limit: 1024 members

It's important to note that this limit applies to manually adding members to a group. When using a group invite link, there's no technical limit to the number of people who can join the group. However, it's still recommended to manage the group size effectively to avoid overwhelming participants and maintain a manageable conversation flow.

8. How to Unblock WhatsApp Account?

Unfortunately, there's no guaranteed way to unblock your WhatsApp account if it's been banned. However, depending on the reason for the ban, you might have a few options:

1. Re-register your phone number:

  • This method only works in specific cases and might not always be successful.
  • Steps:
    • Uninstall and re-download the WhatsApp app.
    • During registration, enter the blocked phone number.
    • Enter the 6-digit registration code.
    • If your account is still banned, wait 30 days and try again.

2. Apply for review:

  • This option is available if you believe your account was banned unfairly.
  • Steps:
    • Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
    • Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
    • Click "Support" when prompted.
    • Enter the 6-digit verification code.
    • Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.
  • Note: It can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

Important points to remember:

  • Understanding the reason for the ban: Knowing why your account was banned is crucial. Common reasons include sending illegal content, spamming, using unauthorized apps, or violating WhatsApp's terms of service.
  • Following WhatsApp's guidelines: If your account was banned for violating their terms, it's essential to understand and follow them to avoid future issues.
  • Limited success: There's no guarantee that either of these methods will work. In some cases, WhatsApp might decide to permanently ban your account.

Alternatives:

  • If you're unable to recover your banned account, consider creating a new WhatsApp account with a different phone number. However, remember that repeatedly violating WhatsApp's terms can lead to further bans.

It's crucial to use WhatsApp responsibly and avoid any actions that might lead to account suspension or ban.

9. Why my WhatsApp Account got blocked?

Unfortunately, I cannot determine the specific reason why your WhatsApp account got blocked. However, I can share some common reasons why WhatsApp bans accounts:

  • Violating WhatsApp's Terms of Service: This includes activities like sending illegal content (hate speech, violence, etc.), spamming other users, using unauthorized modified apps, and excessive broadcast messages.
  • Sending inappropriate content: This could involve sharing harmful, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Spamming: Repeatedly sending unsolicited messages to others can lead to account bans.
  • Using unauthorized third-party apps: WhatsApp doesn't support modified versions of their app, and using such apps can violate their terms and lead to bans.
  • Being reported by other users: If a significant number of users report your account for abusive or suspicious activity, WhatsApp might take action.

If you believe your account was banned unfairly, you can try contacting WhatsApp support and explain your situation. They might review your case and decide to unblock your account.

Here's how to contact WhatsApp support:

  1. Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
  2. Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
  3. Click "Support" when prompted.
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code.
  5. Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.

Remember, it can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

It's important to use WhatsApp responsibly and follow their community guidelines to avoid getting your account banned in the future.

10. Which is better WhatsApp or Telegram or Signal?

Determining which app is "better" depends on your individual priorities and needs. Here's a breakdown of their strengths and weaknesses to help you choose:

Signal:

  • Strengths:
    • Strongest focus on privacy and security: End-to-end encryption by default for all messages and calls, open-source code, no data collection or sharing with third parties.
    • Disappearing messages: Option to set messages to disappear after a specific time frame.
    • Simple and user-friendly interface.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Smaller user base compared to WhatsApp and Telegram: This might limit who you can connect with.
    • Fewer features compared to the other two: Lacks features like large group chats, channels, and advanced media editing options.

Telegram:

  • Strengths:
    • Large user base: Easier to connect with a wider range of people.
    • Feature-rich: Offers various features like large group chats (up to 200,000 members), channels (broadcasting to large audiences), bots, and advanced media editing options.
    • Cloud-based storage: Access messages from any device with internet access.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Weaker focus on privacy: End-to-end encryption is only available for "secret chats," not the default messaging option. Some user data is collected and stored on servers.
    • Concerns about potential for misuse: Due to its large user base and some features, Telegram can be misused for spreading misinformation or illegal content.

WhatsApp:

  • Strengths:
    • Largest user base by far: Most convenient for connecting with the widest range of people.
    • Familiar and user-friendly interface for many users.
    • End-to-end encryption for messages and calls: Provides a good level of privacy for communication.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Privacy concerns: Owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), raising concerns about data collection and potential future changes to privacy policies.
    • Limited features compared to Telegram: Lacks features like channels, bots, and advanced media editing options.

Choosing the right app:

  • If privacy is your top priority, Signal is the clear winner.
  • If you need a feature-rich app with a large user base and are comfortable with a slightly weaker focus on privacy, Telegram might be a good option.
  • If you prioritize connecting with the most people and are comfortable with the current level of privacy offered by WhatsApp, it can still be a suitable choice.

Ultimately, the best app for you depends on your individual needs and priorities. Consider what factors are most important to you and choose the app that best aligns with those criteria.

11. How to remove your WhatsApp group link from any website?

Once you have submitted your WhatsApp group invite link to any website then you cannot remove by yourself. So, it is better that you simply "Reset" your WhatsApp group link and people will no longer be able to join your group from your previous shared group links. Whenever they try to join via your old WhatsApp group join link it will show them that the link had been revoked by the group admin. I hope you understand.

12. Does Signal also have Group Chat features?

Yes, Signal does have group chat features. Here's an overview:

Creating a Group:

  • Open the Signal app and tap on the "New group" option.
  • Select the contacts you want to add to the group.
  • Enter a group name and choose an optional disappearing message timer.
  • Tap "Create" to finalize the group creation.

Group Features:

The member limit for a Signal Group is 1000. This means you can add up to 1000 participants to a single group chat in Signal.

It's important to note that unlike WhatsApp which offers unlimited group size through invite links, Signal groups require members to be explicitly added by an admin or join through a specific group link. This helps maintain control over group size and potentially reduces the risk of spam or unwanted additions.

Here are some additional points to consider regarding Signal group size:

  • Larger groups might experience performance limitations: While Signal supports groups of up to 1000 members, very large groups can lead to slower message delivery or loading times, especially for devices with limited resources.
  • Managing large groups can be challenging: As group size increases, it becomes more difficult for admins to effectively manage discussions, ensure everyone feels heard, and prevent potential conflicts.
  • Consider smaller groups for optimal experience: For a more focused and engaging group experience, it's often recommended to keep group sizes smaller, especially for private or close-knit communities.

Ultimately, the ideal group size depends on your specific needs and purposes. If you need a large group for broadcasting information or facilitating discussions with a wider audience, Signal can still be a suitable option. However, for more personal or interactive group communication, keeping the size manageable might be beneficial.
