Chapter 156 – Rolling in By the Vine (3)

'Does the Condemnation of the Sun actually exist?'

That was the crazy priestess Cage's response. She seemed to be shocked.
That made Cale realize something.

'It is not an ordinary item.'

Jack started to speak as if he knew what Cale was thinking about.

'It is a divine item.' (I changed god's item to divine item. Chapters 51 and 52 have been updated. )

A divine item.
An item gifted by the god.
The thief that was the owner of the Sound of the Wind ancient power had died while running away with a divine item.
That was how precious they were. The reason that the secret organization Arm was able to kill the strong Blue Wolf tribe was because they had a divine item.

That was why Cale was excited as he asked.

'Where is the Condemnation of the Sun located? I will retrieve it.'

However, Jack shook his head with a bitter expression.

'I do not know.'

Jack had only heard about the existence of divine items while being taught by the pope the ways of a Saint. After that, the pope responded to Jack's questions of, 'Are there divine items?' with, 'Divine items? Something like that does not exist.'

The fake Holy Maiden, Hannah, who had been quietly listening to Jack, let out a scoff.

'The Pope said that it does not exist. That means that it is definitely somewhere. That greedy old man probably hid it somewhere safe.'

Jack said something interesting at that moment.

'However, the Pope would not have been able to use the divine item even if he knew where it was located.'
'Why is that?'
'The Popes have not directly been appointed by the Sun God since the Pope from about 500 years ago. The rest since then were all selected in a meeting by the church's leaders.'

Hannah put on another smirk.

'Meeting of leaders my ass. It was more of an ugly fight for power.'

Cale listened to the crazy priestess, the Saint, and the fake Holy Maiden chat for a while before asking Jack a question.

'What kind of divine item is the Condemnation of the Sun?'

Cale set a goal for this trip after hearing Jack's response.

He decided to steal it if he got lucky enough to find it.

'But I don't really have a way to find it.'

There was no way Cale would know the location when neither the Saint nor the Holy Maiden knew about it. That was why he added the part about luck.

Tap.
Cale turned his head toward the hand on his shoulder.
"Let's go in."

It was the crown prince.
Cale, the rest of the Roan Kingdom's investigation team, and the Empire's administrators all responded to Alberu.

Cale, Choi Han, Eruhaben, and the Vice Captain all followed behind Alberu as they headed into the Vatican.

There was still evidence of the explosion in the plaza outside the Vatican.
Part of the Vatican itself was still destroyed from the magic bomb as well.

There was a barricade along the site of the incident along with a large group of people gathered in the plaza just outside the barricade.

"Catch those terrible twins who destroyed the Church and killed our citizens!"
"The Church of the Sun God is disbanded! A church that seeks power is no longer a church!"

Many different voices could be heard.

"Catch and kill those devils who killed the Pope-nim!"
"The Empire does not need the Sun God! The Church of the Sun God that kills people, be gone!"

The Empire had revealed many things about the Church of the Sun God that they had discovered during their terror investigation. As a result, the Vatican was empty because the priests, as well as anybody else that was involved with the Vatican, were all currently under investigation.

'The Empire is quite an interesting place.'

Cale could tell that the Empire's royal family was letting these people do this on purpose. There were bound to be moles from the crown among those people as well.

However, Cale did not care about it.

-Human, human! Let's find a lot of treasures!

Cale slightly nodded his head at Raon's voice.
He then lifted his head up.

He could see the Alchemists' Bell Tower which was visible from all locations within the Empire.
He could see the tall tower that looked as if it could stab the sun.

In contrast, the Vatican was quiet and destroyed.

'Ah, so thrilling.'

That was what the fake Holy Maiden, Hannah, had said.

'I told Arm about the secret room. It is a location that only the Pope and the leaders know about. A lot of the Vatican's treasures are located there.'
'However, I did not tell them about the secret table inside of the secret room.'
'That is the path to the real treasure.'

Cale was more serious than ever before.
The path to the treasure. He needed to be focused. Cale had already chatted about things with Alberu.

'Cale Henituse. Let's proceed with the plan on the last day of the investigation.'
'Is it because the celebration is the next day?'
'Yes. We will swipe it when the Empire is busy with the preparations.'
'Sounds great. Then I guess I need to act like a dedicated investigator until then.'

Cale's solemn expression as he finished recalling the conversation made the Empire's investigation squad members stiffen up.

Rustle.
Cale stepped on some rocks that had fallen off the broken buildings as he slowly entered the Vatican.

"Do we just need to investigate as we want?"

The Empire's administrator lightly nodded his head at Alberu's question.

"Yes sir. However, we ask that you let us know of the location in advance and have one of us with you at all times."
"Hmm, is that so? Whatever. We'll do as you have asked."

The administrator let out a sigh of relief after seeing Alberu not getting upset. Alberu divided up the investigation squad and gave some orders.

"These five people including myself will investigate the central building."

The central building. The eastern Annex. The western administrative offices. Alberu distributed the team and pointed to the last building as he looked toward Cale.

"Young master Cale Henituse, you and inspector Ben will investigate the rear garden and the tower with the spire behind it.

Cale and Ben made eye contact.
Ben was one of Alberu's secretaries who had been named as an inspector based on his investigation abilities. He was, naturally, a disguised Dark Elf.

Cale started to speak.

"I do not need any other guards as I have three of my knights with me, your highness."

Alberu nodded his head as if that was not an issue.

"Do as you like. You, Ben, and an administrator from the Empire. Three knights should be fine for the three of you."

Alberu gave the order for all of them to start moving.
Cale put Ben in front of him and slowly headed to the garden.

'There is nothing in the garden.'

The fake Holy Maiden, Hannah, had said that there was nothing of value in the garden.
Cale could see the Empire's administrator smiling awkwardly as soon as they entered the garden.

"…Mm, it is pretty ugly isn't it?"

The administrator could see the flowers that were trampled. There were also blood stains, making it look more like a battlefield rather than a garden. The administrator could not help but smile awkwardly to show them such a terrible sight.

"Not at all."

Cale started to speak to the administrator.

"It just makes me sad to think about that terrible moment."
"Ah."

The administrator recalled that this young master in front of him was the one who put himself in harm's way in order to defend his kingdom. He leaned his ear toward the just noble's words.

"I pray that we can find the perpetrators in order to console the souls of the dead as well as the hearts of those they left behind."
"…Those are very touching words."

Cale acted like a just noble as he walked through the garden. He could see the tower behind the garden. There was a very small window at the top of it.

The administrator started to speak once he noticed that Cale's gaze was on the tower.

"It is said that there was a heretic when the Vatican was created hundreds of years ago. They supposedly locked the heretic up at the top of the tower."

Cale had heard this from Jack as well.

"It is a building with a staircase leading up to the top and nothing else. It is a pretty useless building. It has not been used for a couple hundred years."

That was what Hannah had said as well.

'…But what is going on?'

Boom! Boom!
His heart was beating wildly.

It had started from the moment he looked at the tower. Cale kept his gaze on the tower as he started to speak.

"Ben, let us split up and look. I will go toward the tower."
"Yes sir. I understand."

The Empire's administrator retreated to the entrance of the garden and started to speak.

"Please take your time. I will be right here."

It meant that he would be watching them.

Cale did not say anything as he started to walk toward the tower.

"What is going on, Cale-nim?"

Choi Han was following behind Cale.
Hilsman was with Ben while Eruhaben was with the Empire's administrator.

Cale casually responded to Choi Han's question.

"Nothing, my heart is just beating."

'Heart?'
Choi Han seemed to be confused.
It was at that moment.

It was as Cale got closer to the tower.
The moment that he could see the only door into this 15-story tower that looked cold and cruel.

Choi Han saw it.

"Cale-nim, in your hand-"

He could not say the rest as he looked around. He then quickly moved to Cale's side in order to block the view of the Empire's administrator.

Choi Han then pointed to Cale's right hand.

Swooooooosh-

A small gust of wind was forming on Cale's right hand.

"Ha, haha-"

A low laughter echoed in the area. The quiet laughter was filled with both admiration and shock.
It was Cale. Cale could not prevent himself from laughing.

Boom! Boom! Boom!
His heart was beating wildly.

His feet felt lighter as well.

It was the Sound of the Wind.
The Sound of the Wind was roaring in his mind more than ever before. Cale recalled the information about the former owner of this power.
The greatest thief who had stolen a divine item.
She was as bold as she was fast.

Swooooooosh-

The gust of wind on his hand kept wanting to fly toward the tower.

– Human, what is going on? Why are you causing the wind? Are you trying to destroy the tower with the whirlwind?

Raon's serious voice echoed in his mind.

– Don't do that! I saw your hands shaking last time! The great and mighty Raon Miru can easily destroy a tower like that if you want! I can destroy the palace as well!

Cale quietly responded back.

"We can't destroy it."
"Excuse me?"

– … You are not going to destroy it?

Choi Han asked with confusion while Raon responded with an oddly disappointed tone.
Cale brushed his face with his left hand.

He recalled the information Jack and Hannah had told him about the tower.

'Although they call her a heretic, the leaders get to know the truth. The woman who was imprisoned in the tower was the last real Holy Maiden.'
'You're right. She supposedly tried to reveal the church's wrongdoings, but she failed and ended up having to live the terrible life of being imprisoned in the tower forever.'
'The Pope tried to brainwash us from an early age that acting like that Holy Maiden would only lead to a pitiful life.'

The tower where the last real Holy Maiden lived.
She had looked down at the church from the small window at the top of the tallest tower in the Vatican.

Cale remembered the question he had asked Jack, as well as Jack's response.

'What kind of divine item is the Condemnation of the Sun?'

Jack had an awkward smile as he responded back.

'It is the Sun's judgment. Although it is hard to believe…'

He shook his head as he continued to speak.

'It is supposed to prevent the night. A white night. It is said to bring forth a bright night.'

The Condemnation of the Sun.
An item that destroys the darkness.
It was a divine item that only the Church of the Sun God could own.

Cale looked toward the tower again.

It is here.
The thief who owned the Sound of the Wind was quietly reaching out to him.

It is here.
The divine item is here.

Cale started to speak.

"Choi Han."
"Yes sir."
"We will secretly leave the palace tonight."
"•••Excuse me?"

Cale didn't even look toward the shocked Choi Han as he started to speak to Raon.

"Raon."
-What is it, Human?
"Show the assassin in my room some illusions tonight. Make him think that I am peacefully sleeping in the room."
– He is pretty strong, so I will need to create a magic circle with a magic stone.
"Use it."

Cale didn't care.
Why would he care about a magic stone when they were going to find a divine item?

Cale started to speak.

"Tonight. We will loot this tower tonight."

1. What are WhatsApp Group Links?

WhatsApp Group Links are unique invitation links that allow you to join specific WhatsApp groups. These links act as an entry point, granting you access to conversations and interactions happening within those groups.

Here's a breakdown of the concept:

1. Groups in WhatsApp:

  • WhatsApp allows creating groups where multiple people can chat, share messages, photos, videos, and other media.
  • These groups can be private (invite-only) or public (discoverable through search).

2. Invitation Links:

  • For private groups, admins can generate unique invitation links.
  • Anyone clicking on this link and having WhatsApp installed can join the group directly.
  • Sharing these links is a convenient way to invite specific individuals or spread the word about the group.

3. Finding Group Links:

  • Group admins might share the link directly with individuals they want to invite.
  • Some websites e.g. GroupChatOn, Group4WhatsUp and apps compile and list publicly available group links categorized by interests, topics, or regions. However, be cautious of such sources, as the legitimacy and content of these groups can vary.

Important points to remember:

  • Joining a group through a link adds you to the conversation, and your messages become visible to other members.
  • It's crucial to be mindful of the content you share and the groups you join, as some might not be appropriate or safe.
  • Exercise caution when clicking on links from untrusted sources, as they might lead to malicious groups or scams.

I hope this explanation clarifies the concept of WhatsApp Group Links. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

2. How to join WhatsApp Group?

There are two main ways to join a WhatsApp group:

1. Through Invite Link:

This is the most common method. If you have been invited to a group, you will receive a link from the group admin. Clicking on this link will open WhatsApp and prompt you to join the group. Here's how it works:

  • Click on the invite link. This will open WhatsApp, either on your phone or desktop app.
  • Review the group information. This includes the group name, description, and admin details.
  • Tap "Join group" to confirm you want to join.

2. By Requesting to Join:

Some groups are private and require approval from the admin before you can join. In such cases, you might need to:

  • Contact the group admin directly. This could be someone you know or someone you find through the group's social media page or website (if available).
  • Request to join the group. Explain why you're interested in joining and provide any relevant information the admin might need.
  • Wait for approval. The admin will decide whether to accept or reject your request.

Additional ways to find groups:

  • Online directories: Several websites and apps list public WhatsApp groups categorized by interests. However, be cautious when joining groups from untrusted sources, as they might be spam or contain inappropriate content.
  • Social media groups: Look for groups related to your interests on platforms like Facebook or Reddit. Sometimes, these groups might have links to their corresponding WhatsApp groups.

Important points to remember:

  • Only join groups from trusted sources. Avoid clicking on links from unknown senders or joining groups with suspicious activities.
  • Be mindful of group rules. Each group might have its own set of rules and guidelines. It's important to respect these rules to maintain a positive and respectful environment within the group.
  • Consider leaving if necessary. If you no longer find the group valuable or experience any negativity, you can always leave the group by going to the group info and tapping "Exit group."

I hope this explanation helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

3. How to Share WhatsApp Group Links?

Sharing WhatsApp group links is a convenient way to invite others to join your group. Here's how you can do it on both Android and iOS devices:

1. Through QR Code:

  • Open the WhatsApp group chat.
  • Tap on the group name at the top.
  • Look for the option "Invite to Group via Link" or "Invite to Group with Link."
  • Choose "QR Code" from the available options.
  • This will generate a QR code for your group.
  • Anyone who scans this code with their WhatsApp camera will be able to join the group.
  • Tap "Share" to send the QR code image to others through various platforms like email, social media, or messaging apps.

2. Sharing the Link:

  • Follow steps 1 and 2 mentioned above in the QR code method.
  • Instead of choosing "QR Code," select "Share link" or "Copy link."
  • This will either share the link directly through WhatsApp with your chosen contacts or copy it to your clipboard.
  • You can then paste the copied link into any platform like email, social media posts, or messages to invite others to join.

Additional Notes:

  • Only group admins can generate and share invite links.
  • The link generated is unique to each group and can be revoked by the admin at any time. This will create a new link, rendering the old one invalid.
  • Anyone with the link can join the group, so be cautious about sharing it publicly. Consider sharing it only with trusted individuals or within controlled environments.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Remember to use broadcasts responsibly and avoid spamming your contacts with unwanted messages.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

7. What is member limit for WhatsApp Group?

As of November 2022, the member limit for a WhatsApp group is 1024. This is an increase from the previous limit of 512 members.

Here's a quick breakdown:

  • Previous limit: 512 members
  • Current limit: 1024 members

It's important to note that this limit applies to manually adding members to a group. When using a group invite link, there's no technical limit to the number of people who can join the group. However, it's still recommended to manage the group size effectively to avoid overwhelming participants and maintain a manageable conversation flow.

8. How to Unblock WhatsApp Account?

Unfortunately, there's no guaranteed way to unblock your WhatsApp account if it's been banned. However, depending on the reason for the ban, you might have a few options:

1. Re-register your phone number:

  • This method only works in specific cases and might not always be successful.
  • Steps:
    • Uninstall and re-download the WhatsApp app.
    • During registration, enter the blocked phone number.
    • Enter the 6-digit registration code.
    • If your account is still banned, wait 30 days and try again.

2. Apply for review:

  • This option is available if you believe your account was banned unfairly.
  • Steps:
    • Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
    • Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
    • Click "Support" when prompted.
    • Enter the 6-digit verification code.
    • Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.
  • Note: It can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

Important points to remember:

  • Understanding the reason for the ban: Knowing why your account was banned is crucial. Common reasons include sending illegal content, spamming, using unauthorized apps, or violating WhatsApp's terms of service.
  • Following WhatsApp's guidelines: If your account was banned for violating their terms, it's essential to understand and follow them to avoid future issues.
  • Limited success: There's no guarantee that either of these methods will work. In some cases, WhatsApp might decide to permanently ban your account.

Alternatives:

  • If you're unable to recover your banned account, consider creating a new WhatsApp account with a different phone number. However, remember that repeatedly violating WhatsApp's terms can lead to further bans.

It's crucial to use WhatsApp responsibly and avoid any actions that might lead to account suspension or ban.

9. Why my WhatsApp Account got blocked?

Unfortunately, I cannot determine the specific reason why your WhatsApp account got blocked. However, I can share some common reasons why WhatsApp bans accounts:

  • Violating WhatsApp's Terms of Service: This includes activities like sending illegal content (hate speech, violence, etc.), spamming other users, using unauthorized modified apps, and excessive broadcast messages.
  • Sending inappropriate content: This could involve sharing harmful, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Spamming: Repeatedly sending unsolicited messages to others can lead to account bans.
  • Using unauthorized third-party apps: WhatsApp doesn't support modified versions of their app, and using such apps can violate their terms and lead to bans.
  • Being reported by other users: If a significant number of users report your account for abusive or suspicious activity, WhatsApp might take action.

If you believe your account was banned unfairly, you can try contacting WhatsApp support and explain your situation. They might review your case and decide to unblock your account.

Here's how to contact WhatsApp support:

  1. Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
  2. Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
  3. Click "Support" when prompted.
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code.
  5. Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.

Remember, it can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

It's important to use WhatsApp responsibly and follow their community guidelines to avoid getting your account banned in the future.

10. Which is better WhatsApp or Telegram or Signal?

Determining which app is "better" depends on your individual priorities and needs. Here's a breakdown of their strengths and weaknesses to help you choose:

Signal:

  • Strengths:
    • Strongest focus on privacy and security: End-to-end encryption by default for all messages and calls, open-source code, no data collection or sharing with third parties.
    • Disappearing messages: Option to set messages to disappear after a specific time frame.
    • Simple and user-friendly interface.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Smaller user base compared to WhatsApp and Telegram: This might limit who you can connect with.
    • Fewer features compared to the other two: Lacks features like large group chats, channels, and advanced media editing options.

Telegram:

  • Strengths:
    • Large user base: Easier to connect with a wider range of people.
    • Feature-rich: Offers various features like large group chats (up to 200,000 members), channels (broadcasting to large audiences), bots, and advanced media editing options.
    • Cloud-based storage: Access messages from any device with internet access.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Weaker focus on privacy: End-to-end encryption is only available for "secret chats," not the default messaging option. Some user data is collected and stored on servers.
    • Concerns about potential for misuse: Due to its large user base and some features, Telegram can be misused for spreading misinformation or illegal content.

WhatsApp:

  • Strengths:
    • Largest user base by far: Most convenient for connecting with the widest range of people.
    • Familiar and user-friendly interface for many users.
    • End-to-end encryption for messages and calls: Provides a good level of privacy for communication.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Privacy concerns: Owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), raising concerns about data collection and potential future changes to privacy policies.
    • Limited features compared to Telegram: Lacks features like channels, bots, and advanced media editing options.

Choosing the right app:

  • If privacy is your top priority, Signal is the clear winner.
  • If you need a feature-rich app with a large user base and are comfortable with a slightly weaker focus on privacy, Telegram might be a good option.
  • If you prioritize connecting with the most people and are comfortable with the current level of privacy offered by WhatsApp, it can still be a suitable choice.

Ultimately, the best app for you depends on your individual needs and priorities. Consider what factors are most important to you and choose the app that best aligns with those criteria.

11. How to remove your WhatsApp group link from any website?

Once you have submitted your WhatsApp group invite link to any website then you cannot remove by yourself. So, it is better that you simply "Reset" your WhatsApp group link and people will no longer be able to join your group from your previous shared group links. Whenever they try to join via your old WhatsApp group join link it will show them that the link had been revoked by the group admin. I hope you understand.

12. Does Signal also have Group Chat features?

Yes, Signal does have group chat features. Here's an overview:

Creating a Group:

  • Open the Signal app and tap on the "New group" option.
  • Select the contacts you want to add to the group.
  • Enter a group name and choose an optional disappearing message timer.
  • Tap "Create" to finalize the group creation.

Group Features:

  • Group size limit: Up to 1000 members can be added to a Signal group.

The member limit for a Signal Group is 1000. This means you can add up to 1000 participants to a single group chat in Signal.

It's important to note that unlike WhatsApp which offers unlimited group size through invite links, Signal groups require members to be explicitly added by an admin or join through a specific group link. This helps maintain control over group size and potentially reduces the risk of spam or unwanted additions.

Here are some additional points to consider regarding Signal group size:

  • Larger groups might experience performance limitations: While Signal supports groups of up to 1000 members, very large groups can lead to slower message delivery or loading times, especially for devices with limited resources.
  • Managing large groups can be challenging: As group size increases, it becomes more difficult for admins to effectively manage discussions, ensure everyone feels heard, and prevent potential conflicts.
  • Consider smaller groups for optimal experience: For a more focused and engaging group experience, it's often recommended to keep group sizes smaller, especially for private or close-knit communities.

Ultimately, the ideal group size depends on your specific needs and purposes. If you need a large group for broadcasting information or facilitating discussions with a wider audience, Signal can still be a suitable option. However, for more personal or interactive group communication, keeping the size manageable might be beneficial.
