First Let's Know About MoneyTap

People Frequently Ask these question when they heard about MoneyTap :-

1. What is MoneyTap ?
2. How Can it will be helpful and What benefit can a person get from this app ?
3. How can we get the benefit  of this or How we can use this app ?

So let's discuss all about these above questions.....

Get to know the team behind MoneyTap, India’s first app to offer instant online credit, making credit easily accessible to millions of Indians right when they need it, without any collateral or complex paperwork.

MoneyTap is India’s first app-based credit line. Offered in partnership with leading banks, it is not just a personal loan, not just a credit card, but a personal credit line. In simple words, MoneyTap is catering to the credit needs of middle-class customers in India. Present in 40+ cities, we are providing small-medium cash loans, quick credit on mobile, affordable interest rates and flexible EMIs.

Founded by a passionate pack of IIT/ISB alumni, MoneyTap aims to make credit accessible to the millions of Indians, who have a hard time getting credit when they need it.

For most of us, applying for a personal loan is a cumbersome process. Those who have credit cards, end up paying high interests on credit card loans. The other option of taking help from family and friends is not quite pleasant either and not everyone gets a salary advance from their employers.

This was the situation, in which one of our founders found himself and felt strongly that a faster and an affordable alternative was needed to help consumers get easy access to credit.

The MoneyTap application process is extremely consumer friendly. We are continuously striving to bring the most seamless and hassle-free credit experience to the consumers. With our no usage no interest feature, we have also made taking credit more affordable. You only pay interest only on the amount used. With the balance available to the customer at no cost, forever! We take pride in being completely transparent and do not keep any charges hidden.

With Moneytap, the process of applying for credit is dramatically simplified to a few taps on our free mobile app. Any individual, who has a smart-phone and a PAN, can check his/her eligible limit in less than 15 minutes through the app. The entire process is largely paperless except for some essential documents required to meet our partner bank’s KYC regulation.

We are team of highly motivated individuals who are driven by a goal to provide data-driven, affordable and flexible app-based credit lines to a million middle-class Indians in the next 3 years.

What Is MoneyTap?

MoneyTap is India's first app-based credit line. A 'Credit Line' lets you borrow money flexibly at your convenience. It’s like a pre-approved loan, but only much better & super convenient. MoneyTap app is available on PlayStore (more than 10 lac+ installs & 4+ rating). You can download the app and finish your application process through the app itself. It takes only 4 minutes to know your eligible credit limit. After getting pre-approved you must complete your KYC process in order to get your credit line issued & activated.

Here is the best part about MoneyTap:

You can transfer the money from MoneyTap app to your bank account and that will be considered as a personal loan or you can choose to use it like a credit card (in certain cases). If you use it as a personal loan, then UNLIKE ANY OTHER LOAN PRODUCT IN THE MARKET, the interest will only be charged on the amount used, not the whole approved amount. For instance, you get approved for Rs.30,000. And you choose to transfer (borrow) only Rs.15,000, then the interest will only be charged for Rs.15,000 only. Before transferring, you can choose your own repayment tenure i.e. EMIs of your choice (With MoneyTap you structure your own loan!!). Each time you payback the EMI your limit will be again topped up with the principal amount & it will be available for reuse again.

Who is eligible for MoneyTap?
Salaried and self-employed professionals between 23 yrs to 64 yrs of age, and income more than or equal to Rs. 25,000/- living in select cities are eligible to apply for MoneyTap. The approval of a credit line depends on a person's credit history, banking partner's credit selection criteria & other factors. The above eligibility is just a pointer to know if you can apply or not for MoneyTap. Credit approval is solely on our bank partner's discretion.

An applicant is considered eligible only if he is residing (current address) in the following cities. List of cities where we serve :

  • Delhi NCR (Delhi, New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida)

  • Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali (Punjab),

  • Jaipur,

  • Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Gandhinagar,

  • Indore,

  • Visakhapatnam (Vizag) & Vijayawada,

  • Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune,

  • Hyderabad & Secunderabad,

  • Chennai,

  • Bangalore

Things NOT to do

  • Do not promise false rewards to people
(eg: A friend will not get a reward on signing up or creating an account on MoneyTap app. Only a friend who is successfully referred will get the reward when their line gets issued by the banking partner. Any false promises where he/she is misguided otherwise will result in a cancellation of reward benefits to both the referrer & referee)

  • Do not falsify the refer & earn information. Please ask your friend to install the app using your unique referral link. During his account creation & on-boarding, the product will be explained.

  • Do not use MoneyTap logo without our prior written permission

  • Do not paste your 'Referral Code' on MoneyTap's brand entities (Play Store Reviews, MoneyTap Facebook, Instagram, Twitter Pages etc.)

  • Please understand that our social media pages along with our PlayStore is what keeps us connected to our audience and we cannot tolerate anything which can cause harm to it or mislead our customers. It comes across as if we are trying some amateur tactics to gain app installs, which in turn has a very bad impression on our customers. In case your referral code is found on the PlayStore reviews or Facebook posts, you will be BLOCKED PERMANENTLY with immediate effect and all your past-present-future Amazon.in vouchers will be CANCELLED!!
(Refer to the example pictures below)

Why Follow These Best Practices?

We are more excited about you earning Rs.1,00,000/- than you!
And we assure you that if you follow these best practices, you will definitely earn the 1 lakh referral money! (We have a surprise planned for you once you earn this amount)

Please connect with us at - HELLO@MONEYTAP.COM in case you have any concerns.

PASTING YOUR REFERRAL CODE ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE / MONEYTAP FACEBOOK PAGE WILL LEAD TO YOU GETTING PERMANENTLY BLOCKED FROM THE REFERRAL PROGRAM WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. ALL YOUR EARNINGS WILL ALSO BE BLOCKED
(REFER THE IMAGES BELOW. DO NOT DO THIS)

These reviews are misleading to our customers.

1. What are WhatsApp Group Links?

WhatsApp Group Links are unique invitation links that allow you to join specific WhatsApp groups. These links act as an entry point, granting you access to conversations and interactions happening within those groups.

Here's a breakdown of the concept:

1. Groups in WhatsApp:

  • WhatsApp allows creating groups where multiple people can chat, share messages, photos, videos, and other media.
  • These groups can be private (invite-only) or public (discoverable through search).

2. Invitation Links:

  • For private groups, admins can generate unique invitation links.
  • Anyone clicking on this link and having WhatsApp installed can join the group directly.
  • Sharing these links is a convenient way to invite specific individuals or spread the word about the group.

3. Finding Group Links:

  • Group admins might share the link directly with individuals they want to invite.
  • Some websites e.g. GroupChatOn, Group4WhatsUp and apps compile and list publicly available group links categorized by interests, topics, or regions. However, be cautious of such sources, as the legitimacy and content of these groups can vary.

Important points to remember:

  • Joining a group through a link adds you to the conversation, and your messages become visible to other members.
  • It's crucial to be mindful of the content you share and the groups you join, as some might not be appropriate or safe.
  • Exercise caution when clicking on links from untrusted sources, as they might lead to malicious groups or scams.

I hope this explanation clarifies the concept of WhatsApp Group Links. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

2. How to join WhatsApp Group?

There are two main ways to join a WhatsApp group:

1. Through Invite Link:

This is the most common method. If you have been invited to a group, you will receive a link from the group admin. Clicking on this link will open WhatsApp and prompt you to join the group. Here's how it works:

  • Click on the invite link. This will open WhatsApp, either on your phone or desktop app.
  • Review the group information. This includes the group name, description, and admin details.
  • Tap "Join group" to confirm you want to join.

2. By Requesting to Join:

Some groups are private and require approval from the admin before you can join. In such cases, you might need to:

  • Contact the group admin directly. This could be someone you know or someone you find through the group's social media page or website (if available).
  • Request to join the group. Explain why you're interested in joining and provide any relevant information the admin might need.
  • Wait for approval. The admin will decide whether to accept or reject your request.

Additional ways to find groups:

  • Online directories: Several websites and apps list public WhatsApp groups categorized by interests. However, be cautious when joining groups from untrusted sources, as they might be spam or contain inappropriate content.
  • Social media groups: Look for groups related to your interests on platforms like Facebook or Reddit. Sometimes, these groups might have links to their corresponding WhatsApp groups.

Important points to remember:

  • Only join groups from trusted sources. Avoid clicking on links from unknown senders or joining groups with suspicious activities.
  • Be mindful of group rules. Each group might have its own set of rules and guidelines. It's important to respect these rules to maintain a positive and respectful environment within the group.
  • Consider leaving if necessary. If you no longer find the group valuable or experience any negativity, you can always leave the group by going to the group info and tapping "Exit group."

I hope this explanation helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

3. How to Share WhatsApp Group Links?

Sharing WhatsApp group links is a convenient way to invite others to join your group. Here's how you can do it on both Android and iOS devices:

1. Through QR Code:

  • Open the WhatsApp group chat.
  • Tap on the group name at the top.
  • Look for the option "Invite to Group via Link" or "Invite to Group with Link."
  • Choose "QR Code" from the available options.
  • This will generate a QR code for your group.
  • Anyone who scans this code with their WhatsApp camera will be able to join the group.
  • Tap "Share" to send the QR code image to others through various platforms like email, social media, or messaging apps.

2. Sharing the Link:

  • Follow steps 1 and 2 mentioned above in the QR code method.
  • Instead of choosing "QR Code," select "Share link" or "Copy link."
  • This will either share the link directly through WhatsApp with your chosen contacts or copy it to your clipboard.
  • You can then paste the copied link into any platform like email, social media posts, or messages to invite others to join.

Additional Notes:

  • Only group admins can generate and share invite links.
  • The link generated is unique to each group and can be revoked by the admin at any time. This will create a new link, rendering the old one invalid.
  • Anyone with the link can join the group, so be cautious about sharing it publicly. Consider sharing it only with trusted individuals or within controlled environments.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • People can find your channel through search, by being invited by existing subscribers, or by scanning your channel's QR code.
  • As the channel owner, you can manage who can see your channel, control who can join as admins, and edit your channel information.

Here are some important things to keep in mind when creating a WhatsApp channel:

  • Content focus: Clearly define the purpose and target audience for your channel to attract relevant subscribers.
  • Quality content: Regularly share engaging and informative content to keep your audience interested.
  • Spam prevention: Avoid excessive or irrelevant content that might overwhelm subscribers.
  • Community guidelines: Adhere to WhatsApp's community guidelines to avoid potential channel suspension.

I hope this explanation helps you create and manage your WhatsApp channel effectively!

6. How to create a WhatsApp Broadcast?

Creating a WhatsApp Broadcast allows you to send messages to a selected group of contacts at once, similar to an email list. Unlike groups, recipients cannot see each other's replies or interact with each other within the broadcast. Here's how to create a broadcast on both Android and iOS devices:

On Android:

  1. Open the WhatsApp app.
  2. Tap the "Chats" tab.
  3. Tap the "More options" menu (three dots in the top right corner).
  4. Select "New broadcast".
  5. Select the contacts you want to add to the broadcast list. You can choose up to 256 contacts.

  • Remember to use broadcasts responsibly and avoid spamming your contacts with unwanted messages.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

7. What is member limit for WhatsApp Group?

As of November 2022, the member limit for a WhatsApp group is 1024. This is an increase from the previous limit of 512 members.

Here's a quick breakdown:

  • Previous limit: 512 members
  • Current limit: 1024 members

It's important to note that this limit applies to manually adding members to a group. When using a group invite link, there's no technical limit to the number of people who can join the group. However, it's still recommended to manage the group size effectively to avoid overwhelming participants and maintain a manageable conversation flow.

8. How to Unblock WhatsApp Account?

Unfortunately, there's no guaranteed way to unblock your WhatsApp account if it's been banned. However, depending on the reason for the ban, you might have a few options:

1. Re-register your phone number:

  • This method only works in specific cases and might not always be successful.
  • Steps:
    • Uninstall and re-download the WhatsApp app.
    • During registration, enter the blocked phone number.
    • Enter the 6-digit registration code.
    • If your account is still banned, wait 30 days and try again.

2. Apply for review:

  • This option is available if you believe your account was banned unfairly.
  • Steps:
    • Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
    • Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
    • Click "Support" when prompted.
    • Enter the 6-digit verification code.
    • Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.
  • Note: It can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

Important points to remember:

  • Understanding the reason for the ban: Knowing why your account was banned is crucial. Common reasons include sending illegal content, spamming, using unauthorized apps, or violating WhatsApp's terms of service.
  • Following WhatsApp's guidelines: If your account was banned for violating their terms, it's essential to understand and follow them to avoid future issues.
  • Limited success: There's no guarantee that either of these methods will work. In some cases, WhatsApp might decide to permanently ban your account.

Alternatives:

  • If you're unable to recover your banned account, consider creating a new WhatsApp account with a different phone number. However, remember that repeatedly violating WhatsApp's terms can lead to further bans.

It's crucial to use WhatsApp responsibly and avoid any actions that might lead to account suspension or ban.

9. Why my WhatsApp Account got blocked?

Unfortunately, I cannot determine the specific reason why your WhatsApp account got blocked. However, I can share some common reasons why WhatsApp bans accounts:

  • Violating WhatsApp's Terms of Service: This includes activities like sending illegal content (hate speech, violence, etc.), spamming other users, using unauthorized modified apps, and excessive broadcast messages.
  • Sending inappropriate content: This could involve sharing harmful, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Spamming: Repeatedly sending unsolicited messages to others can lead to account bans.
  • Using unauthorized third-party apps: WhatsApp doesn't support modified versions of their app, and using such apps can violate their terms and lead to bans.
  • Being reported by other users: If a significant number of users report your account for abusive or suspicious activity, WhatsApp might take action.

If you believe your account was banned unfairly, you can try contacting WhatsApp support and explain your situation. They might review your case and decide to unblock your account.

Here's how to contact WhatsApp support:

  1. Download and install the WhatsApp app again.
  2. Open the app and enter the blocked phone number.
  3. Click "Support" when prompted.
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code.
  5. Fill out the review application form and provide any supporting information explaining why you think your account was banned incorrectly.

Remember, it can take several days for WhatsApp to review your request.

It's important to use WhatsApp responsibly and follow their community guidelines to avoid getting your account banned in the future.

10. Which is better WhatsApp or Telegram or Signal?

Determining which app is "better" depends on your individual priorities and needs. Here's a breakdown of their strengths and weaknesses to help you choose:

Signal:

  • Strengths:
    • Strongest focus on privacy and security: End-to-end encryption by default for all messages and calls, open-source code, no data collection or sharing with third parties.
    • Disappearing messages: Option to set messages to disappear after a specific time frame.
    • Simple and user-friendly interface.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Smaller user base compared to WhatsApp and Telegram: This might limit who you can connect with.
    • Fewer features compared to the other two: Lacks features like large group chats, channels, and advanced media editing options.

Telegram:

  • Strengths:
    • Large user base: Easier to connect with a wider range of people.
    • Feature-rich: Offers various features like large group chats (up to 200,000 members), channels (broadcasting to large audiences), bots, and advanced media editing options.
    • Cloud-based storage: Access messages from any device with internet access.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Weaker focus on privacy: End-to-end encryption is only available for "secret chats," not the default messaging option. Some user data is collected and stored on servers.
    • Concerns about potential for misuse: Due to its large user base and some features, Telegram can be misused for spreading misinformation or illegal content.

WhatsApp:

  • Strengths:
    • Largest user base by far: Most convenient for connecting with the widest range of people.
    • Familiar and user-friendly interface for many users.
    • End-to-end encryption for messages and calls: Provides a good level of privacy for communication.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Privacy concerns: Owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), raising concerns about data collection and potential future changes to privacy policies.
    • Limited features compared to Telegram: Lacks features like channels, bots, and advanced media editing options.

Choosing the right app:

  • If privacy is your top priority, Signal is the clear winner.
  • If you need a feature-rich app with a large user base and are comfortable with a slightly weaker focus on privacy, Telegram might be a good option.
  • If you prioritize connecting with the most people and are comfortable with the current level of privacy offered by WhatsApp, it can still be a suitable choice.

Ultimately, the best app for you depends on your individual needs and priorities. Consider what factors are most important to you and choose the app that best aligns with those criteria.

11. How to remove your WhatsApp group link from any website?

Once you have submitted your WhatsApp group invite link to any website then you cannot remove by yourself. So, it is better that you simply "Reset" your WhatsApp group link and people will no longer be able to join your group from your previous shared group links. Whenever they try to join via your old WhatsApp group join link it will show them that the link had been revoked by the group admin. I hope you understand.

12. Does Signal also have Group Chat features?

Yes, Signal does have group chat features. Here's an overview:

Creating a Group:

  • Open the Signal app and tap on the "New group" option.
  • Select the contacts you want to add to the group.
  • Enter a group name and choose an optional disappearing message timer.
  • Tap "Create" to finalize the group creation.

Group Features:

  • Group size limit: Up to 1000 members can be added to a Signal group.
  • End-to-end encryption: All messages and calls within the group are encrypted by default, ensuring privacy.
  • Group info and settings: Admins can edit the group name, description, and photo. They can also control who can edit group info, send messages, and start calls.
  • @mentions: You can mention specific members within the group chat by using the "@" symbol followed by their username.
  • Disappearing messages: Admins can set a timer for messages to disappear automatically after a chosen duration.
  • Group calls: Both voice and video calls can be initiated within the group, with the same end-to-end encryption for added security.

The member limit for a Signal Group is 1000. This means you can add up to 1000 participants to a single group chat in Signal.

It's important to note that unlike WhatsApp which offers unlimited group size through invite links, Signal groups require members to be explicitly added by an admin or join through a specific group link. This helps maintain control over group size and potentially reduces the risk of spam or unwanted additions.

Here are some additional points to consider regarding Signal group size:

  • Larger groups might experience performance limitations: While Signal supports groups of up to 1000 members, very large groups can lead to slower message delivery or loading times, especially for devices with limited resources.
  • Managing large groups can be challenging: As group size increases, it becomes more difficult for admins to effectively manage discussions, ensure everyone feels heard, and prevent potential conflicts.
  • Consider smaller groups for optimal experience: For a more focused and engaging group experience, it's often recommended to keep group sizes smaller, especially for private or close-knit communities.

Ultimately, the ideal group size depends on your specific needs and purposes. If you need a large group for broadcasting information or facilitating discussions with a wider audience, Signal can still be a suitable option. However, for more personal or interactive group communication, keeping the size manageable might be beneficial.
